Stop Bashing the Obama Economic Plan

Stop Bashing the Obama Economic Plan

Commented Mar 24, 2009 at 13:57:54 in Politics

“Thank you for being one of the lone voices of support for President Obama. I too say give him a chance! He must repair the damage before he can make the necessary changes to put our country on the right track, to make changes so this will never happen again..........or at least for another 30 years after the Republican's get into power again.”

Obama, In Black and White

“moonseeker says: "Obama's victory was historic for several reasons. But perhaps the greatest of those reasons is because never again after this day will race and the color of a person's skin be the most important factor in determining who most Americans vote for. "

You are right, but even more scrutiny will now be given to a person's sexuality.............”

Palin on Today: Not Goin' Anywhere

“I believe Palin won't be going anywhere. She is going to be the voice of the radical right, the James Dobsons', the Tony Perkins', Maggie Gallaghers', et al, the Focus on the Family groups. I would bet the Mormon Church will support her candidacy unless of course Mittens is running again. Palin wouldn't stand on stage with Republicans that are pro-choice until forced by McCain handlers, she has stated that she is for a Constitutional Amendment to ban gay marriage and it has been stated by a Republican in a leadership role that anti-gay marriage is what they will be running on in 2010. So don't think she isn't being groomed for the national stage, because she is and the more the media keeps her in front of the electorate the more dangerous she becomes. Her folksy ways are not real. She is on CNN with Wolf Blitzer this afternoon and on Larry King tonight, next she'll be on Leno and then make her rounds with O'Reilly and Hannity, just wait and see.

She is Michele Bachmann on steroids........and now has the fundies all fired up and ready to go.”
Is Race an Issue? Are You Kidding?

Is Race an Issue? Are You Kidding?

“I live in suburban Minneapolis as well and the other day a white kid probably around 8 yrs old was riding his bike by my house. I have an Obama sign in my yard and he flipped it off. I stuns me that this child, too young to vote is being indocrinated by the adults in his family. Race is an issue in this election as sad as that is, it's true.”

“Amazing. When I called the cops they had the gall to tell me that the KKK had nothing to do with the signs. They also egged the outside and get this - inside of my car. Thanks and
best
Gordon”

Veterans Respond to McCain's "Obama Wants to Lose" Remark

Commented Jul 31, 2008 at 08:49:40 in Politics

“Does Bush want to lose the war? President Bush is announcing today his plan on withdrawing troops due to better Iraqi security and trained Iraqui forces. McCain better go after the president on this because it looks like he wants to lose the war just like Obama.

I can't wait to hear the spin on this one from the McSame camp.”

“Sir,
The (majority holding) democrats have done NOTHING so far to hold Rove, Bush, or Cheney accountable. Why should we believe you will start now? I am sick and tired of hearing all the blustering but never seeing any real action. Our Constitution has been shredded and many democrats have been complicit in helping along its destruction. Bush and Cheney should have, and COULD have been impeached by now, but democrats were too chicken and gave Bush everything he has wanted; even though is approval ratings have been consistently plumeting and he continues to commit crimes against the Constitution.
So, no Congressman, as much as I respect you I DON'T BELIEVE YOU. I have lost all hope that you or any other democrat will do anything to hold Rove accountable.”

“So you are willing to ruin current and future generations rights to privacy in their health care decisions and disgrace all generations before you that fought so hard to gain the right to vote for YOU and the right to privacy in YOUR health decisions? Thank you so much. I'll bet your daughters, grandaughters and great granddaughters will thank you too after McCain is elected.”
