“As far as king George goes guts or hubris, history will decide. Obamas problem is he sticks to the facts. Now if he started spewing lies like his opponents then he would have a chance. Actually if he would say more about the outrages the medical/insurance/drug industry inflicts on Americans daily he would be getting more traction but as with the repugs he is trying to get them on board. Having said that, learn to actually figure out what is bothering people. That's effective listening.

The issue is clear. The Dems have scared people with clauses in the house version that do, in fact, take away private insurance. Why? Why do something so stupid that will scare people?

The lobbyists, that's why. The Dems now have a bad bill that everyone, even moderates, no longer support. That's why the polls are dropping. That's why the Blue Dogs are balking.

Obama didn't put forth his plan. He talked big talk, threw it to Congress (who is eaten alive by lobbyist money).

“The charges were dropped BEFORE Obama made any comments about it. The police chief probably decided it was unjustifiable to arrest someone in THEIR OWN HOME for disorderly conduct. Oh right, the office led him outside and THEN arrested him; on his property. Which meant that charges should not have been dropped. So why were they?”

I'm not a Democrat, but neither am I a Sarah Palin supporter. I'm glad to see the potential Republican nominees melting down all at one time and early on in the process. Now we have a cleaner slate of potential candidates to consider and the door is open for someone new to appear on the stage. I think this is good news for the Republicans in the end. Plus Sarah Palin never had even the slimmest chance of winding up as the Republic nominee for President in 2012.”
