“got a spoiler for you , you have been royally fooled....." Because I am educated ".......another spoiler - been around plenty of "educated" folks who cannot figure their way out of a paper bag , so whether you are or not , whether you think you are , or not......and that you state it.......does not mean it is so.....
my "crappy" insurance.....How dare you think you can make that decision for me, or advocate that someone else should force their idea of what is right for me - only to support the " greater good " ........you really ought to be ashamed.”

“blah blah cue the fake outrage.
I love how you just gloss over all the points I made and went directly to the argument from emotion. So much for being educated. You want to put on a facade of being educated as though you're even minimally competent to discuss the topic but have failed to do so with any skill whatsoever. Either you're a smart person acting like a simpleton over his/her head or an actual simpleton. Neither is particularly admirable.
Yes, your crappy insurance. The plan the insurance company could have cancelled at any time and you'd have been up a creek if it were not for the new law. A factor that I find personally amusing when faced with the whining from people who're losing coverage that doesn't meet minimum standards. The fact of the matter is every time I've checked the options are either a wash in cost of less for the new products. Not really a surprise at all considering the underpinnings of how the law is put together.
But I wouldn't need to explain that to you now would I? Oh, educated one.”
“not proposing shar , just observing.....am able to do the math.....
and a solution could be the result of intelligent analysis.........something our current government is incapable of.......”
Shari Trussell on Dec 5, 2013 at 23:30:57
“The ACA is a conservative, free market based solution authored by the Heritage Foundation. The only reason the GOTP is against the law is because Obama and Democrats co-opted it, proposed the legislation, passed the legislation and signed it into law.
You never said what your alternative solution or replacement would be...just like the current GOP House majority.
“and what a lot of us cannot stand is people like yourself , who believe that govt' is more qualified to make our decisions for us -
they may be qualified enough to make your decisions , but I can make mine on my own -
and HOW DARE you support a law that takes away a PERFECTLY GOOD HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY that was exactly what I wanted , and NEEDED to protect myself.....that makes this policy UNAVAILABLE TO ME AT ANY PRICE.......that removes MY CHOICES ......HOW DARE YOU - YOU OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED ....”
RadicalAmerica on Dec 5, 2013 at 16:04:07
“If you think you are making your own decisions in the Insurance marketplace ytoure sadly mistaken. The govt, whether state or federal has ALWAYS made the choice of what you can buy and from who you can buy it from. Go reference your State's Banking and Insurance Commissioner.
Lose your plan? Go buy another one! Chances are its more comprehensive and covers more than the last one did. It wont fail you when you need it the most and it will probably be cheaper than what you were paying. Have some personal responsibility and stop sticking us with your high ER bills when your insurance company wont pay. Be a better American to yourself and the rest of us.”
no one is too "keen" on fixing anything with this law...”
youtoo on Dec 5, 2013 at 19:56:16
“There are things that need fixed and it will take time. Social Security, Medicare, Part D none of these where perfect it took time and sadly sometimes the very ones the laws where meant to help the most where the very ones hurt the most until they where fixed.”
seems no one ever likes to acknowledge the legal lobbying , and the gifts the dems give back to the lawyers.....”
Ministerbruce on Dec 3, 2013 at 21:11:37
“Or the gifts, given to the Oil and Energy , or Corporate Farmers, or the Lobbyist of US CHAMBER UNION of COMMERCE, or the lobbyist of the American Manufacturers Alliance, or how about the OIL Refineries Lobbyist, who refused to build a Refinery in nearly 40 years in America, after buying and freezing out the Independents refiners.
How all the CASINO BILLIONAIRES, who give and lobby, exclusively for the Republicans, I can on and on, your favorite TROPE is the Trail Lawyers, because you hate losing, at many things, like elections... well get use to it, as the Demographics change from now until 2050, as minorities, taken over the reins of ELECTORAL POWER and curb kick, your bought and paid for Congress critters.
We'll remember to smile while we curb kick, straight into the WILDERNESS.”
“once a person , such as myself sees the TRUTH of what is actually going on in the world....the troubles experienced by MANY , solely because of the policies of the current admin......well you just cannot try to deny it , and you need to call out the folks who seem to have drank the strongest koolaid.......
too bad you seem unable to comprehend the world around you......pretty sad.”
pene on Dec 3, 2013 at 20:55:17
“what is sad here is your rebuttal. why do you righties think that fact can be refuted with lies? 40+ years of the reagan revolution has done a lot of damage, but many of us still have the ability to think and reason. That is esclusively the province of the left these days.
LOL, but don't let me stop you wasting your time and energy thinkiing up ways to distort reality.”
“you should look into the function of the IPAB , and get back to us on exactly why these people should be appointed , instead of elected .........”
Bobby Whyaskin on Dec 3, 2013 at 11:50:16
“Yeah, you should look into IPAB yourself because you pparently know nothing, zilch, nada, zip about it If you did you would know that IPAB has NOTHING to do with decisions over individual patient care or in any decision between a patient and doctor. In fact -
"The IPAB is prohibited from submitting proposals that would RATION CARE INCREASE REVENUES, CHANGE BENEFITS, MODIFY ELIGIBILITY, INCREASE MEDICARE BENIFICIARY COST SHARING (including Parts A and B premiums), or change the beneficiary premium percentage or low-income subsidies under Part D"
Elected? Are you joking? What similar level of official is elected? Cabinet members? No. ANY advisory boards anywhere? No. What is the precedent for electing these board members? None”
