“I thought Ireland looked prosperous in the early 90's but the people felt somewhat poor. I was there just before the crash and everyone seemed to feel very confident. Hopefully, most people did not engage in risky financial behavior and will be ok. I was content to watch all the madness go on around me in the states and stay my same conservative financial self. So I am no worse for the wear and tear. I hope the same is true for most in Ireland. Hope to see Ireland feeling prosperous but not giddy when I have my next trip there whenever.”

Dell has left the country and moved to Poland for the cheap labor, so too a lot more of the American companies that had set up there.
