“Where in my post did I mention anything about belief?”

“The second and third sentences. You stated that that most Progressives that you know do not want or need an Apocalypse, and that they've been trying to stop it. Why would someone try to stop something that they do not believe?”
“Not sure I'm following your logic here.
But I am pretty sure that most Progressives I know, do not want or need an Apocalypse. They've been trying to help stop it. And have been fought every step of the way by conservatives.”

“Trying to stop an Apocalypse that you don't believe?”
“That's not entirely true.
There is currently only one party that fits your description.”

“That is not true. That is merely a reflection of your bias. Failure plus excuses or blaming anyone else is not success. Politicians lead and compromise. That is the nature of politics. If that isn't the result, they all are failures. Think of a baseball analogy - the team is impressive and wins or the team is not and loses. This Congress and leadership loses.”
First, how does the person who posted that caption know it was a porn shoot.
IMHO, they were simply frolicking.
It ain't porn till the oyster opens up, to coin a phrase.”

“Apparently the author would rather see a sweet picture of a dead body floating in the water instead of a raunchy picture of a beautiful women.
And the "porn" reference, comical...I have seen more "porn" on SI covers.”

“Seriously, this is nothing on a Florida beach.
But we S. FL. teen girls did inadvertently do a faux pas in 1971, coming back from the CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) beach party on a Saturday. We had a wonderful time frolicking at the beach, swimming, playing touch football, picnicking, etc. and then loaded on the school bus, and headed back to the church parking lot. Who knew there would be a wedding ceremony leaving the church just as we debarked with our bikinis? Someone in the wedding party started yelling at us about how "disrespectful" we were, so of course we accommodated by prancing and dancing around the lot. Good thing we didn't know what twerking was back in the day ;)”
“I'm an atheist, but this is infuriating and sad on several levels.
Seems to me that he was trying to actually follow the tenets of his chosen faith and do some good in this world. And then some loser with a damn gun assassinates him.
Then, there are some folks here making some really thoughtless and inconsiderate comments to bolster their own beliefs on religion and gun violence.
Very sad and very disappointing.
My heart and thoughts go out to his family, his friends, and his congregation. Even though I don't believe in the same things he does, I'd rather have more religious folk like him around, than the other kind that are so very prevalent now.”
