the vast majority of the current reporting is favorable to the coach.
adam's dad abused his "celebrity" status to have access to the team and workouts that no other player's family member could ever hope to have...mor
it wasn't like "john smith, second string underclassman receiver's" dad was calling (that is basically adam's status on the team, by the way...it's not like his last name is crabtree or anything..

“That doesn't make sense. It seems logical to me that if you have a cash cow in Leach (with all his success and potential), you would not let him go for a student. That would be lunacy, unless the kid has a case. They stand to make way more than 800K by keeping Leach. Your explanation is faulty by any measure.”

“adam was one of my favorite up-and-coming players until i started reading how his fellow teammates and coaches felt about him and how his dad intervened constantly, trying to get his baby more playing time...a baby that wasn't recruited by a single div. I team to play football that only wound up at tech on a baseball scholarship (a scholarship he walked away from when daddy coudln't get him more time on the diamond).

It's pretty clear that the school feared being sued by the James family and that they were advised any the suit would have merit. If James had no case - LEACH WOULD STILL BE THE COACH.

And something that has played out in every sport ever coach,No body is bigger than the game,and if he was jerked before a bowl game their is much more involved than anyone knows, Today The Chancellor said,Where Mike Leach is from maybe they did not learn an important lesson,He said Icame from a small town in West Texas, but I know if you sue your employer things usually do not work out. well, his quote, So until it all comes out nobody knows the whole story ,and I do not believe this is his first infraction,Leach gave them the crack to open up this mess, And when he said win,lose or draw he was out, So this will all play out I am sure”

“Leach revealed his guilt when he started bashing the player in public. If he was right, he should have shut up and accept due course. I bet he knows present and former players were about to expose who he really is. He can say what he wants to, but in this case it seemed to say - OK you got me.”
