“I do not for a minute believe that was his goal. I do believe the whole thing was mishandled and the republicans were handed too much power in the name of bipartisanship, but there was no Machiavellian intent.”

Marcospinelli replied on Dec 21, 2009 at 07:05:57

“How do you come to that belief?

Obama's continued just about every one of the Bush-Cheney policies.

If I'm correct, what does that mean to you?

You have made an assessment that "the whole thing was mishandled" and Obama "handed too much power in the name of bipartisanship" to the Republicans, but that's something that not even Obama is admitting or reversing. What's happening is what Obama wants to happen.

What's it going to take to get through to you and people like you? What does Obama have to do to make you suspect that you were conned? What's more does he have to do, what more do we have to suffer, before you recognize that he's not who you thought you were voting for?

The longer this goes on, the longer you and other Obamabots keep his numbers high, the more he and Democrats work against your and all of our best interests.”

“True. You can do all these things, but I seriously doubt that you do. Do you ever use a public library, fly in an airplane, need the assistance of the police? It's called living in a society and we all need to pay our share. Are you so rich that you can get in an accident or become really sick and pay $50,000 or more out of your pocket? Good luck living as a survivalist without government services.”

mackbolan replied on Dec 20, 2009 at 23:32:45
