“I don't believe Manchin/Toomey will do anything that the NRA opposes, so I'll just wait and see how this plays out.”

“I'm an NRA member and a gun owner. Personally, I'm not opposed to universal background checks ... AS LONG AS ... there's some kind of guarantee in the legislation that forbids using such legislation as a stepping-stone to "universal gun registration."
Like Harrison Ford said in the film, AIR FORCE ONE: "If you give a mouse a cookie, he's gonna want a glass of milk." A lot of law-abiding gun owners fear, with some justification, that universal background checks are just the "cookie" - that what legislators really want is the "glass of milk" (universal gun registration). Even I am opposed to that ... and a lot of gun owners would certainly feel the same way. And that's why there's some worry over giving up the "cookie" to begin with.
P.S. And then, there are some mice would wouldn't be satisfied with a glass of milk. And given that milk, they'd want to have some caviar (gun confiscation). Diane Feinstein can't be the only legislator who feels that way, either.”
I'm pretty sure that the Mormon church doesn't teach that "Choosing The Right" is a political slogan.”

“I'm pretty sure they do. When my friend's mom was getting some help from the 'elders' while she was sick, they tried to 'encourage' her, aggressively I might add, to change her political affiliation. The Mormons are no better than any other organized religion trying to secure and/or maintain political power. Their 501 (c) 3 should be stripped. In fact, ALL churches should have their federal tax exemption stripped, immediately . . .”

“Good catch Iompe, at 0.18 seconds into the video that is a CTR ring she has on her hand and is exclusive to Mormon's only.”
