“I guess you forgot about the warnings that came from the CIA in August 2001. The CIA went in person to brief the president because they were so concerned about the chatter being heard throughout the world about a terrorist attack. Bush was in Crawford for his August vacation and didn't go back to DC upon hearing the warnings. Instead he kept on vacationing. The 9/11 warnings were there, but Bush and Cheney ignored them. I don't know if the attacks could have been prevented, but they did nothing and went on with business as usual.
I believe those 7+ minutes where Bush sat reading My Pet Goat were because he was thing oh $hit, that's what they were talking about last month. He was frozen as jets raced towards their targets. Another failure to act as the US was under attack and he sat in a classroom. Yep, these are the guys we should all trust to keep us safe. Cheney needs to shut up.”

“How much jail time did Chris Brown get for felony battery? Save your outrage for someone who deserves it. Brown got off easy, but there are plenty of drug offenders who are in jail for years (many African American). How does someone choke and beat someone and spend little time in jail? Celebrity helps.”

“This is not a first time problem for Charlie. Charlie has several indiscretions on record for dv with no jail time. Charlie has also received probation time and community service.
First time offense on Chris Brown with no criminal background, he received a harsher sentence than most. The truth is most would not received jail time for a first offense.”

“Would you like to talk about some presidential lies? How about lying us into a war. That was Bush, not Obama. How abotu lying about outing a CIA operative? That was the last administration. Bush's lies were disastrous for this country and yet you talk about Obama. Get your head out of the sand and realize that the last administration brought the country to the brink of economic disaster, lied us into a war, politicized the Justice Dept, etc.

So, until there is a mandatory retirement age for Congress there really isn't much that can be done. The voters get to decide when their congressman retires.”

This health care debacle will be the undoing of the dumbocrat party. It will be an interesting event. So, go cook up some popcorn, because 2010 will see the house and senate being taken back by the republicans.”
