Maybe we should limit prostate checks by taking it out of insurance coverage.
You get to pay for your own tests - not included in the new coverage if the insurance company receives Gov. funding.

“This is no surprise to me. The Protestant churches with traditionally educated clergy have been generally supportive of Choice for decades, as well as women's rights in general.
The modern anti-abortion movement started in the early 80's, IMO as a rallying point for the new school born-again clergy. The abortion clinics in Seattle were unharassed until then, in spite of Catholic opposition to abortion. The Catholics were too respectful of legal due process to be out intimidating patients and providers at clinics when Roe vs. Wade went into effect, so the harassment didn't start in earnest for another decade when the new crop of Fundamentalist churches got traction and needed something to differentiate themselves from the old school Protestants.”

“Being POTUS is a tough job and that's no surprise, but I feel sorry for Obama at the moment. Most GOPers feel obligated to oppose whatever his does, no matter what, and the many Dems hoping for getting out of the Middle East sooner rather than later also oppose him.
I still trust him to make the right decision. He knows a lot more about the facts of the situation over there than I do, and although I don't support war in the abstract I don't see any easy way to pull out quickly now. I voted for him in spite of what he said he wanted to do in Afghanistan, and I hope he's right that that's the place to go after the Taliban. Will that make America safer? I don't know. Killing people produces more and more enemies, but plenty of people hate us already so maybe continuing the war doesn't make us even more enemies than we have now.”
