“I agree. I don't care what they do in their spare time as long as it is consentual. During the Lewinski debacle, the Italian Prime Minister said something like "I don't know what the big deal is. In Italy, the Prime Minister is almost expected to have a mistress or people would automatically think something was wrong with him". Not verbatim, but that was about the gist of it. It's not like Spitzer was doing something that married men don't often do anyway. If Spitzer knows ways out of this mess, and can save us from wasting billions or trillions, I wouldn't even mind paying for his escorts with my tax money (as part of his salary, to be deducted from what he would normally make). Furthermore, there should be a new rule for presidents. For every week that the president does a good job, we treat him to something he/she would like to do. It may be a round of golf somewhere, or it may be a BJ. However, for every year that the president does a bad job, we lop-off a finger (starting with the left pinky, then ring finger, and so on). That might deter future presidents from torturing, wiretapping unlawfully, getting rid of Habeas Corpus, and generally just being a Dick. I think we are beginning to see that the person we thought was president for 8 years was really vice president anyway.”
