Mr. Stupak: I Can Stand the Heat

“You are being fundamentally dishonest. The Stupak bill does not outlaw abortions, it just outlaws taxpayer funding. Abortions aren't that expensive anyway. Start a voluntary fundrasing effort or spend the money you give to politicians and pay for this belief yourself.”
DaretoHOPE replied on Nov 19, 2009 at 11:28:34
“I did not see anywhere in this article where it mentions that the Stupak bill outlaws abortions.
What I understand however that it does do is prevent women from being able to buy insurance under the public option that covers abortion even when paying for that insurance with there OWN MONEY not federal funds.”

“How about reading the constitution before you pretend to know what it says. Says nothing, zero, zip, nada about how to spend money. But since you feel that way, here's your refund. Now wakl to work but not on the highways I help pay for. Use the woods. Don't call 911 if your house is burning because I'm not paying for you any longer. It could go on and on.”

“People like me support Palin because she is more like middle America than anyone else in Washington. She is not a government establishment lifer, she's not a lawyer, she's not a big business executive. she owes none of these industries any favors and comes with a clean slate. Just like I would if I went to Washington. It's refreshing. The only people who make a big deal out of her now are liberals. Most of us that like her, hopes she will run, but have no expectations at this point. The liberals are obviously scared of her deep down. She's the ross Perot of the 21 st century without all the wackiness. We have come to dislike all the "smart" people in Washington who get mass support from everything except middle America. We do not need the smartest washingtonian in the US, we need someone who can read the constitution and get this country back to what it stood for.”

I want people in charge who are smarter, calmer, more experienced, more interested in making the best choices for ALL America, not just the ones she calls "real" America. Wanting to have your leaders be like the average person sitting in front of the tube and wandering around big box stores may make you feel better about yourself "Hey, I am just as good as someone who could be president" but is sure the heck is not going to help us get through the world class level problems we are facing. Telling the Whole Story on Global Warming

“Ms. Pelosi, please discontinue using the phrase "global warming". We have changed it to "global climate change". We have determined that the phrase global warming cannot be used any longer to further our goals of economic control as the scientific evidence no longer supports the "warming" phrase. Using climate change allows us to point to any outcome as a result of human activity and we can then continue our progress to our eventual goals uncontested. Thanks and sorry you did not get the memo earlier.

The New York Times Bizarrely Attacks Teachers -- Why?

“First test the teachers and fire the ones that are too incompetent to teach. Secondly, get rid of the aides and hire more teachers. Third, test the kids. The results can and should be based on a floating scale based on the makeup of the school and economic conditions of the area, but testing is the only way to judge the students learning. GET RID OF THE UNIONS. They could care less about any students.”

The temperatures have cooled recently, once again provingnthat we have cycles. Just like the ice age was a joke in the 60's, this will prove to be the largest hoax ever perpetrated on the world. “And his time slot is one that has most of the nation still at work. Think what it would be if in prime time. Even without capturing the maximum ad dollars, his lead-in for the following shows has raised everyones ratings on Fox. That is due to Beck and his huge audience. Fox still wins as now they receive more money from the other shows and many of the advertisers that would like to advertise on Becks show probably put their ads either just before he starts or right after he ends to capture that crowd and still able to claim they are not advertising "during" his show. There is no way Beck is not a huge win for Fox overall.”

We also have had the Green Party, the Libertarian party, American Party, American reform Party, socialist Party, communist party, Ross perots party came very close to winning an election but sputtered from a lack of a broad platform. We do not lack for parties and in fact about a third of the country belongs to no political party.”

Talk about putting gas on the fire. It is hard to stand up for the MSM when they ignore such obvious in your face stories as these when on the left, but jump all over the right with far less evidence, if any. However, your statement that the majority of Americans are quite happy with their insurance cannot be right. That is true about by hometown of 35,000. The more acurate statement would have been: The majority of Americans that already have insurance are happy with it ,,,,,,etc.”
