“Moffat can give a plot enough twists to give you vertigo, but have to say, for Day of The Doctor they unravelled just fine, and with enough "in-jokes" for fans to have silent smile. Perfectly weighted performances between the 3 principal Doctors, with current incarnation Matt Smith rightly just coming out on top (until the 4th Doctor's appearance).
Just breaking away a little, the vignette of Paul McGann's transformation to John Hurt, I think another Moffat piece, only 8 minutes, but surely "if only...." You'd swear he'd been playing the part since 1996.”

“Well, for a start, American's tend to use a cut of bacon that's half meat, half fat; fry it until it's as brittle as glass, then smother it in sugary syrup to contain the shrapnel. As much as my mouth has loved the taste when I've had breakfast in America, my arteries weep.”
