“This speech by Obama will undoubtedly go down in the history of speeches as one of the great speeches of all time, good enough to produce positive ratings from the likes of Palin and Limbaugh and so many other of his critics, but the speech in itself was tragically flawed. His comparison of the two excuses for war that he inherited yet keeps us in and escalates, to the worlds march to stop Hitler and the rest of the brutal madness of WW2, I personally found irritating and simply could not digest. To compare the lies and deceit of Cheney and Bush and Rumsfeld to the grand crusade that took place more than 60 years ago, along with the likes of Blackwater and the blatant law breaking war profiteering and drug dealing and torture by US was an insult to so many who lived through and died so long ago in that War. He still gives great speech, and on the surface this was yet another one, but what Cheney and Company created and how they created it puts us on the side of despots like Hitler and Stalin.”
