Why Joe Biden Should Resign
Commented Oct 14, 2009 at 18:55:11 in World
“I think maybe you should resign, Arianna....you are totally against Geithner and therefore, Obama because he chose him. I have seen so many anti-Obama postings here lately that I have had it. Joe Biden has no reason to resign nor should he. Is he supposed to act like a spoiled brat if his President disagees with him? No Arianna, he should NOT!”

“Arianna, do you know more than anyone else in the world about Mr. Rangel? How do you know he's guilty of anything? Do you have some secret direct line into his life? Unless you have proof, you shouldn't be calling for his resignation. Shame on you! Innocent until proven guilty not the reverse.”
farrelle replied on Oct 11, 2009 at 14:25:48
“This isn't a criminal trial. Rangel has already admitted his "error".”
Thank You Rush Limbaugh (and Pat Buchanan)

“Limbaugh and Buchanan aren't the only ones who are saying that. The conservative columnist, George Wills, said it before Limbaugh or on the same day. So it's coming from all over and I feel sorry for anyone who thinks that. I'm sure Powell saw this coming and just doesn't give a damn.”
John McCain Plays the Race Card

“You are right on!!! The media seems to just ignore all his gaffes and memory lapses and people like Howard Kurtz claim the KNOW he knows the difference between Shiia and Sunni and that there is no more Czeckoslavakia. How do they KNOW that? Must be clairvoyant.”

“Really? Where have you been? His mother is white. His father is black. That doesn't make him 100% black in any math class I ever attended! I do wonder why he refers to himself as black all the time, but perhaps it's because he got the dark skin like his father. Not knocking him for that, but you are way off base. What planet are you living on?”

“Debates are only as good as the moderators make them. If they ask the substantive questions that matter, Barak Obama would win hands down just like Hillary did. She knew the answers to all substantive questions without even having to think about them. Also, I disagree that he (BO) doesn't need Clinton. She won big time in states like Florida (yes, he was on the ballot there), Ohio and Pennsylvania and now his lead in those states have taken a tumble....maybe it's because it looks like she isn't going to be asked to be vp.”

“I hope you have sent this to other media outlets. This is just too important for them to ignore when this person is running for the presidency of our country. I try to e-mail these types of articles to some but for some reason I always have trouble doing that from HuffPo. I have no problem elsewhere.”

Memo to Obama: Moving to the Middle is for Losers

“Again, here we have someone blaming the Clintons. Barak Obama is not strong enough to stick to his principles? Then he wasn't strong enough to begin with, oh dumb one! Can't blame yourself? Well, then by all means blame the Clintons!!!”
nurseattorney replied on Jul 05, 2008 at 21:53:46
“No I'm not blaming the Clinton's for Obama's waffling and triangulating, I'm just saying that the Clinton's are probably encouraging it and influencing him and making the financing of the campaign dependent upon it.. I do blame the Clinton's for promoting this disingenuous style of politics, but Obama is an adult and supposedly a thoughtful and intelligent individual and if he lacks the backbone to tell the Clinton's he's going to do this campaign HIS way, and stand on his own principles and positions, then he doesn't deserve to be the nominee or the president.
I agree with the essence of Arriana's comments...despite the common wisdom repeated by the MSM, this "moving to the center" is a loser's game. Which is why I have to wonder why Obama is going this route.”

“So you are saying Hillary Clinton is to blame? How could anyone who sounds so intelligent be so biased and well, WRONG!!!!??? She had every right to stay in the race and did damned well considering the bias in the media toward Obama and without their expressed help to him she would have undoubtedly won it all!!!! Don't blame her because there were so many of you who couldn't see anything but the "cult" you identified as adulation by the vast majority! Not her fault....YOURS!!!”

“Like Arianna, I feel that Condi Rice using the word proud was reprehensible. Proud???? What is she proud of? That she supported Bush's extreme dictates like the good little Fascist she is? As for Obama, all I can say is you asked for oh naive ones and you got it. Hillary Clinton is a much more apt leader and would not back down like Obama does on so many issues.”
NotMcCain replied on Jul 05, 2008 at 22:35:00
“Are you kidding? Hillary was the Queen of Triangulation. And she "reinvented" herself and "found her voice" at least 5 times in a 17 month campaign.
No, we're lucky to have Obama as our nominee. The only question is: is he lucky to have US?
We Democrats really need to have his back--to be more supportive than critical of each other (for a change)--at least until Jan 20, 2009.
Can we do it?
Yes we can! (hopefully)”

“You're right, but it was exactly her inability to admit any fault, mistake, and constant pandering - oh the pandering - that did her in. That is much better than a hope-filled intellectual with little time to be corrupted. Hillary would have given away Chelsea to win...and that makes you feel good about her qualities as a leader? Get over the loss, Bill.”
