“The GOP stretched out the process in the Senate considerably and aligned themselves with conservative Democrats in the House to get onerous anti-choice provisions into the House version. They did a pretty good job remaining a unified Party of No, forcing the 58 Dems and two independents caucusing with them to fight amongst themselves before finally coming up with something they all could swallow, more or less.
We won't really know whether their Party of No strategy works with the voters this coming November, but they've certainly done their best to blatantly represent corporate interests over the interests of average Americans. I suspect, at a minimum, this will keep their coffers from going dry.”
