“spiritual law doesn't play favorites...that is why GZ got what he wished for walking around as neighborhood watch loaded. Theres a lot of us here on earth and the rest of your life you will live in isolation because unfortunatly at this time, you are who you are and share a planet with others. So saying only God can judge you doesn't do you much now does it. how about being honest with yourself and spirit.”
“Do you think the other picture would be different if they were both naked or at least having the same attitude/outfit...or do you think a white person sitting on a black person in any way would trigger the same emotions? if so..and i dont' know, i wish people could live there lives on the fine line between being considerate..and being okay with not always understanding what hurts people. Sometimes its like a wound being ripped open, and the person that did it has nothing to do with why the wound is there.”

“Gracie, the honest truth is, I get the message THIS artist was trying to make because he explained his train of thought.
Unlike the fashion designer, who did not explain his and therefore it left everyone to pull from their most instinctive reaction. That instinctive reaction just happened to be the unhealed feelings about the past relationships between blacks and whites and the fashion magazine's raison d'etre- to sell luxury goods. Which when combined looks like blatant unapologetic mocking of the disenfranchised and impoverished.
In any other context but the fashion world, the controversial image of a white woman dressed in designer wear that most cannot afford to buy, sitting on top of a naked black woman who has been hog-tied, could be seen as a commentary on how the materialistic lifestyles of those in the first world is bought at the expense of lives in the third world.

“its like sometimes we have to keep racism alive just so we know what offends people. I do see how this would make people squirm..but at the same time...it would be a different context if another race sat in the chair. Racism ends when people aren't offended. its that hard and that simple.”
“oh right...because police are police...not individual human beings doing a job. Oh and lets not mention the millions of successful stories that these individuals have accomplished while on duty...at work...wearing a uniform..and a badge number. what it comes down to...people.”
“Your the diablo that devalued one boys story just because the article doesn't name them ALL. so sad for you.”

“Sorry? I did no such thing. I just pointed out that there are plenty of children who do nice things every day. Obviously I have hit a sore spot, and thus I will no longer engage in this conversation with you, because apparantly it's upsetting to you.”

“there's no such thing as real life and what is called grey area for you is there. its all about right vs wrong, cops vs robbers and good vs evil. i would like to see a crowed tell you how you should of handled everything in your life. its called real life. this is a sad story. a man shot someone trying to come into his house in the middle of the night. yeah it could have ended differently if you wrote the story. but its real life, and this man has to live with what he did..in the heat of the moment.”
“makes me sick that this is even compared to anything. Who would have thought that someone was in a car accident and trying to get into your house. Was she yelling "help". probably not...maybe her lung or ribs where damaged..in shock..dont know. All i know is this story is sad. Two victims here. I would never want to hurt someone innocent and in pain.”

“Two victims? Only the one young lady is dead. I wouldn't be so quick to assume the shooter is a victim of anything. He shot a young unarmed girl. In legalese that's the perpetrator not the victim.”
“it wont save the world, but it is proven many situations involving murder..not sport/safty...murder...people have acted on impulse. It has nothing to do with this story...but many of them. its called cool down period. And it does make a difference. owning a gun should be given to the intitled. not ones with issues. The kids of issues that cause you to make made choices out of your control.”

Your solution to stop firearm related "murder" is understandable however, in the over all picture it still does not stop a person with murder in their heart.”

States who have initiated a "waiting period" for a firearm have not seen a drop in the "murder" rate because of the wait period. Mainly because very few people who want to commit murder on "impulse" and do not have a firearm, will very rarely go and purchase one just for that reason. What will happen is a person who wants to commit murder with a firearm will purchase one and wait. Waiting allows an individual time to plan a "murder" or cool down until they get upset again and use the firearm they waited for to commit murder. The waiting period does not "change" the heart of a murderer, it only delays the time of the murder.
As far as the "entitled" anyone who is "approved" after the 4473 form and N.I.C.S. are eligible to be "entitled". Individuals with "issues" on their record will be denied. Individuals who are entitled may develop issues later and may lose their right to own a firearm, that does not stop the "entitled" with "issues" to commit a firearm related murder now.
Also you may not have considered why most people purchase firearms in the first place... self defense, protection, security, piece of mind knowing you have ability to at least level the field against bodily threat. A 10 or 15 day even a three month wait may endanger your life depending on your situation (i.e. abusive relationship, stalker, rapist, etc...).
“its about waiting, and beating impulses in the midst of situations. THAT is what it is about and it is a real thing. It is about helping people ESPECIALLY those who make the biggest mistakes..murder. There will still be deaths. This is about impulse buying. IT has NOTHING to do with YOU and law abiding gun owners...no one is trying to take away your fkn gun. you know nothing about humanity. You know nothing about the impulse of the mentally insane. owning a gun should be a right, just like driving a car. It WOULD make a difference.”
