“Excellent Post and I agree with your take on people forgetting what we voted for...More and more I am hearing people 'give up' and are speaking of 'regret' or 'i'll vote republican if he doesn't do what I want..exac­tly'...int­eresting to me as I repeatedly see/hear the true colors of the republican party of today. IMHO this particular (among others) line of crap is one thing and one thing only. The President of the United States is black. Plain and simple. Because he is black/African American/M­ixed...is the ONLY reason this has ANY legs at all.

IE...if there were to be any counter argument to my charge, where have the legs been on the McCain was born in Panama truth? Right, I know I know, we 'own it'...howe­ver...u see how quickly that gets shot down and stopped? In that is my point. I have yet to see, especially during the election, 2000 election, etc. ONE story on McCain 'birth issue'....­because there is NO STORY; as there is NO STORY with the birthers, yet they are 'entertained. IMHO in THAT is the racism.

They are the minority. My view on that is 'funny how it's challenging to be a minority, when you haven't had a lifetime of practice'
