I am not foolish enough to believe that none sense. I know the difference between a caucation disareeing with African Americans and the venom of those with sinister intentions.

I a multi-racial and love all of my ethnic links. I am talking about all of the post on here dedicated to trashing African Americans.


The problem wtih all of the statements on this post is they are mean spirited and in poor taste.

If you were a black leader and spent years trying to get a prominent black who has mass appeal to speak on these issues and they refused, then they pop up on some rant, you might take issue with that also.”

I am a retired Nurse and the things I had to put up with in Nursing School with ignorant Nursing Instructors who were always making racist comments and you dare not go against them because your grades depended on you keeping your cool and knowing when to speak up.

So don't tell me you know more then me and what we face as African Americans because you have no idea.

Both my son's are college educated and my daughter in-laws. My husband has a masters degree and we still go through things because of our race.

We are acutely aware of racial injustice because people like you will always remind us of how insufficient as a race we are.

So how much time do you have? I have had to endure unfair treatment my entire life and not allow it to sour my life, I rose above it with the help of the Lord.

Your view of All African American has bee conjured up by the Media and those of us who are productive members of society are contantly demonized and criticized.”

“Increased spending is only part of the solution...it cannot work alone. But try learning in a classrooms like I had in HS where there were 35 kids in a class, 30 desks, and 20 textbooks. Telling these children to change their attitude and behavior won't change that.

Trying to get many (not all) of these kids to see the value of an education is where we should start. Too many of them live in areas where they don't SEE what an education gets them. There's not much if any job opportunities in their areas. Too many of them live in areas where education is not their primary concern, but SURVIVAL is (and in some cases, by any means necessary).

So yes, infrastructure, at least in my opinion, IS a major issue that needs to be addressed. Teaching parents to be more responsible for how their children turn out is another issue that needs to be addressed...in any event, if we are being realistic, we should note that these issues probably won't get totally resolved in one generation.”
