“Stop lying! The only way that the country defaults on the debt is if the POTUS and the Treasury both work purposefully to make that happen. There are laws and regulations in place to ensure that it cannot happen any other way. I am not saying that the POTUS is planning to do that; just stop implying and lying that it can happen any other way. Trust me, we are still paying taxes so there is still money to pay on the debt.”

“What in the world are you smoking? It is obvious that tax money is not enough to cover our payments so we need to borrow.”

“Really. So what "laws and regulations" are these? Tell us.”

“She knew what she was wearing. The following is a direct quote from the UNIF (designer) website.
VERY VERY LIMITED. Boot a racist in the dome in this super soft 50%/50% Cotton Modal dirty white crew neck featuring: Reverse construction, grinding on neck and bottom hem. Each T has been through a triple hand wash treatment to create just the right fade and pilling.
“It is a tax on anyone who doesn't have healthcare coverage. I am way, way below the 1% and do not have health insurance. It will be a tax on my, as well as on my husband's small business that cannot afford to provide such coverage. Please don't speak for a group of which you are not a part. We can do that for ourselves.”

“So, get health insurance. If you can't afford it on your own, there will be methods to help you to do so. The employees of your husband's small business will be able to turn to insurance exchanges, instead of buying individual insurance, which IS cost prohibitive. Don't you WANT health insurance? I don't know how you sleep at night, without it. HERE is a way for you to get it and affordably. My youngest child was born with a birth defect, while we were on COBRA and it wiped us out financially. Then, when COBRA ran out, I was unable to find ANY health insurance for him - that stupid-sounding pre-existing condition. ( It did NOT pre-exist his existence. So much for THAT pro-life position!) Finally, under Clinton, we were able to get health insurance for him and I think God every day for that coverage! I would never, EVER want my worst enemy ot go through what we did. Give it a chance. As a small business owner myself, I am more that willing to do so.”

“Subsidies will cover those who truly cannot pay. Become informed. Here:
“It doesn't matter if you are a Democrat; the statement was intended as an insult to all Republicans. This story isn't the place for political comments. You simply interrupted many readers' enjoyment of a positive story.
Notice that I refrained from making any of the justified jokes resulting from your rude behavior. Trust me; that was quite difficult.”
“Is the number of abuse cases actually up, or just the number of reported abuse cases? I am not Catholic, so I am not passing judgement, but I was just wondering. It seems that parents are rightfully becoming less tolerant of abuse - sexual, physical or psychological- of the their children, especially from people who are supposedly the most trustworthy. Perversion isn't a new phenomenon...”
“Don't apologize for making readers angry when that is actually your intention. Just because you chose poorly, please don't project your mistakes onto everyone else. Marriage has little to do with what you spoke of and more to do with those entering into this union, ie their maturity, their upbringing, etc. Many a marriage between "older" couples has failed because of issues similar to those you use to denigrate young couples' marriages. In addition, please do not refer to my mature marital relationship as puppy love. I met my husband at 15, dated until 20, when we married. That was 28 years ago. My parents married at 22 and 24 and are still married 52 years later. My in laws married at 17 (no, she was not pregnant!) and were married until his death some 46 years later. Just admit you screwed up and leave the rest of us out of it!”
