“This story is almost 4 years old. Do you have anything else that may help the citizen from Alaska appear relevant? The citizen has no clue about things in the medical field, especially when she "governed".
This is what the former Governor of Alaska didn't know about her own state. She hired so many of her own cronies, they did not even know how to file the usual paperwork to keep her state's Medicare and Medicaid programs. Never in the history of Medicare, has there been such an action from the Federal Government to withdraw funding for these programs. I believe this story is the reason the citizen from Alaska quit her job in July, she thought this story was going to expose her incompetence. Unfortunately, this story flew under the radar. And this woman wants to educate Ms. Couric on the workings of Alaska?

“Your ignorance is showing. The R's Medicare "Reform" Act of 2003, that the R's passed in the middle of the night, back in November 2003, cost 1.2 Trillion of unfunded dollars. That means, we are still paying for that free gift to the drug companies and to Medicare Advantage private insurers. That new grandchild will be paying for it also.

“Seems the good former governor Palin was busy trying to "ration healthcare" and impose her own "death panels." Looks the situation legally blew up in her administration and she had to high-tail it for the door. Must some of the "frivolous lawsuits" she mentioned in her reasons for quitting.
