“I doubt he even watched it. He might have learned a thing or two. I personally loved it.”

“I was glad that she mentioned a few things about men too, that are being overlooked due to stereotypes. It was a well done video, and given the fact it was only about 4 minutes long, quite a lot of information.”
“Tell that to the women in your family who will never tell you that they themselves have had an abortion. Ask around...you'll be in for a HUGE surprise. But as a man, I guess it is in your "duty" to tell women how to live their lives and to force them to birth and care for unwanted children...forsaking their lives and futures in the meantime. All because you don't like it. Well too bad, because it is the law of the land and I will fight tooth and nail to keep it safe and legal. Now go walk your talk and take in an unwanted child before the GOP starves it to death.”
“I am an east coast liberal myself, but I have lived in the south where life is completely different, and I "get" that some don't have ID's, passports, etc. If you don't drive or ever expect to travel why would you need one? BUT, those are the individuals who vote blue. Why are we fixing a problem the doesn't exist, to the disadvantage of a large group of individuals, for the desired outcome of a small group of wealthy individuals...Oh,that's right, it's the new American way.”

“That right there is the problem, there is no voter fraus, but they heed to have id's to stop voter fraud?”
“Everyday my friend. Because all my friends are the "new poor" and they include small business owners, teachers, firemen, parents...people who make this country great and without which there would be no local jobs or "consumption of goods". But good luck with your faux philosophy as you flush this country down the toilet.”
“Because the Republicans embrace the platform of more for me less for thee and sell it as gospel - as being exactly what Jesus would do. The Democrats aren't perfect, but they are saints in comparison...imho.”
“I'll bet you say that to all the girls. And you don't wish I was right, if so you would get off the moocher band wagon and work to get this country moving again. Be part of the solution or remain part of the problem...it's your choice Walt.”

“I used to do charity work in the inner city. I can tell you most of those people had no desire to work, they just abused the system and wanted hand outs.
I bet you do nothing to help others. Why else would you get so angry when someone disagrees with you?”
“It is true. Level the playing field and offer a living wage and you will see these numbers drop exponentially. Everyone wants the American Dream, but it is not in the best interests of the powers that be. Change that and you will change the world.”
WWhite002 on Apr 29, 2014 at 20:22:04
“You have such a naive view, but I wish you were right.”
“Shame on you. No American I know expects anyone to "pay for them". They just want a fair shot...a level playing field. This so obviously shows what we already know, no one is looking out for the little guy. And just so you know, all of this is done to benefit the already rich, period! Have you read about the Gilded age? If not, do so as we are there once again.”

“I absolutely agree! It would be cruel to send her to the highest office without the support she needs. Just image all she could accomplish...that thought along gives me hope.”

“I would LOVE to see Senator Warren as POTUS with a Democratic house and senate :)”
shades3 on Apr 27, 2014 at 18:00:30
“I agree with you, Kyrstin L. It would indeed be cruel to elect Warren, if she runs for President, without the support she needs. The only way to give her that support is to VOTE in the upcoming midterms and sweep out the TeaPartiers and the Republicans who only open their mouths to say NO to anything that might actually help those who need it most......us.
Those who complain that the President promised up hope and didn't deliver are not factoring in that the Republicans have obstructed every single effort that he has put forward, even those that they claim to support, simply to oppose.
The Republicans LOST the elections, both in '08 and in '12 and, like pouting schoolchildren, can't get over it.
They have no ideas, just "NO". How productive is that??”
“Thanks for that post. It's a really neat little video.”

“Thanks for sharing that. Mr. Joel is an entertainer of a different stripe. I recall driving north on "the 5" through Orange County Ca. and hearing Piano Man for the first time. (1973) I told my fellow Marines that this Joel guy just might be around a while. I guess this qualifies as "a while".”
“I absolutely agree. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Also look at the suicide rates...large increases as well.
"In the report, which appeared Sunday on the Web site of The Lancet, a medical journal, researchers found that the rate between 2008 and 2010 increased four times faster than it did in the eight years before the recession." and "The research team linked the suicide rate to unemployment, using numbers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and from the Bureau of Labor Statistics."
