“Lt. Col Limbaugh is preparing to lead the 1st Ditto-Head Recon division in a daring raid aimed at penetrating Iranian golf courses and securing the clubhouses in advance of a strike.
Limbaugh has been ordered to coopt any Iranian regular forces with offers of Cuban cigars, cheap viagra, and will command a special medical team which, in exchange for their cooperation, will offer free removal of cysts off the buttocks of any members of the Iranian high command that require the procedure.
Regarding the mission, Lt. Col. Limbaugh was uncharacte ristically close-mouthed, but did remark: "This will give new meaning to the idea of a surgical strike."”

Scientists warned that, unless drastic is taken immediately, in ten years from now glaciation may render some Northern cities uninhabita ble." Dr. Giva Medinero, who holds the Al Gore Chair of Climatology in prestigious Woodstock University, was quoted as saying: "Imagine the entire Northern tier of U.S. cities-from Buffalo, to Bangor, Chicago, Minneapolis to Seattle-as one great big ice belt. Unless we do something to decrease the amount of anti-heat gases- this could be a terrible reality within ten years."
Meanwhile, former General David Petroleus, now director of the G.W. Bush Climate and Terror Institute, poo-pooed such notions, claiming: "There are many scientific studies showing that the burning of fossil fuels, far from causing this so called 'ice-house' effect, actually serve to mildly increase the atmosphere's temperatur e."”
However, the effects of the "ice-house" effect may already be being felt. Prof. Jacques Costco of the Walmart-Sea World Institute of Oceanography and Seafood, located in La Jolla, California says a recent study of the migratory patterns of gray whales shows that the Cetaceans are beginning their journey to the Baja Coast months ahead of their usual pattern. Prof. Costco remarked, "The unseasonally large formation of the Arctic ice flow is certainly a factor. It will be hard for ice-deniers to challenge this study. Man made global ice house is something we must deal with now."”

“Of course, the Greenists will come out and claim that this is just a sinister attempt on oil rich Russia's part to discredit the doctrine of man made climate change. They are good at this. If, for example, some or other skeptic cites a "cold winter", then the Greenist devotees will immediately respond that "climate" and "weather" are 2 different things. A particularly active hurricane season, on the other hand, is iron clad proof for global warming-so that weather is not really weather, see-it's "climate". This is the way the Greenists operate. If a non-scientist, such as Lord Monckton, questions global warming, then the Greenists will immediately cry: "Not a scientist! Not a scientist!" When non-scientist Al Gore comes out with his ridiculous Earth in the Balance, with its hockey sticks, horrible poetry and cataclysmic fear mongering, non-scientist Al Gore becomes, in the Greenists' eyes, a purveyor of scientific wisdom.
In other words, we are dealing with the new global religion of Greenism. The "catastrophe" is its apocalypse, the original sin is humanity (at large) making use of the forbidden fruit of technology to reach a better standard of living, its heretics are the "deniers", and its morality is collective, eschewing individual responsibility and placing the blame for environmental mayhem squarely on "us".”

“Greenism in a nutshell: Malthusian, anti-human, suicidal "life boat" economics, carrying capacity, imminent catastrophe. If, indeed the earth would be better off and have a "chance to heal" by the disappearance of the human race, then the Greenist devotees, particularly those elitists whose carbon footprint is so much, much, bigger than most others, (what with yachts, corporate jets, limousines, mansions and what not) should lead the way and shuffle off their mortal coil, thereby practicing what they preach. After all, as Burke said, example is the best school of humanity.”

“Malthus suggested that there was a hard limit to the human population because of limits in agriculture, and being before the green revolution, his estimate was wildly off.
"Greenists", aka rational people, believe that increased droughts, desertification, the mass disruption of ocean food chain, more frequent storms and rising oceans swamping heavily populated coastal areas are undesirable consequences that it would be much less painful to avoid by learning to use energy efficiently, at the cost of not everybody on earth getting to have a 40' TV in every room of their cheaply built, inefficient house.
The city of Calgary, home to numerous oil companies, recently received an award for it's efforts to green: among other things, they replaced all their lights with efficient florescent lights and the extension of the c-train is powered by wind. The result? They've saved a lot of money!
Energy is money, so why do we insist on using as much as possible? Why insist on the right to be wasteful? Why die slowly when we could create new green industries to replace the old ones we've lost to Asia?
Acid rain, the ozone layer, lead, DDT... all environmental problems that had their skeptics, all problems we somehow solved without causing the collapse of western civilization. The result? Healthy lakes and rivers, we can still go out in the sun, violent crime has been dropping for 20 years, and there are birds all over.”

“Perfect Apocalyptic scenario from the pontifex maximus of Greenism.
"Deniers" are the new heretics and, unlike the old heretics and dissenters, will bring down roasting on humanity at large because of their sin of "denial".
If computer simulations are correct, and if anthropogenic climate change indeed portends "catastrophic consequences" then there is one technology that has been available for some 60 years that, with the help of a crash program for building plants that efficiently produce power above and beyond any other means of power generation, and would seriously reduce the emission of greenhouse gases, and which could be supplemented by other, locally convenient means-such as geo-thermal and hydro-electric, not to mention the harnessing of tidal forces in the oceans.
But the "N"-word is, apparently, a no no because this whole thing is a fear mongering manipulation, after what remains of the tax base of the diminishing first world along with the suffering people of the third world, who yearn for things like electricity, running water, basic sanitation and a decent standard of living more in accord with human dignity than living in darkness, scrounging around a muddy well and living off of scarce roots and legumes.
I can just imagine, if the spirit of Greenism had been a serious political force back in 1933, would FDR have begun his first inaugural with "All we have to fear is fear itself" or "all we have is fear"?”

Sure, it's a relatively small sect, but its size is in inverse proportion to its professed hatred of the goyim (children of Satan) and non-members in general, going far beyond anything professed by extremists in the historical Christian, mainstream Judaism or Islamic traditions.

“In the current Western paradigm in which "democracy" is the panacea, "freedom" , "equlity" the goal and "freedom" the inevitable result of the former two, there is only one real, rational solution to the Israel-Palestinian quandary: one citizenship, with no differentiation based on religion or ethnicity, one vote per citizen, and real equality under the law. That would obviate the need for barriers, corridors, and Bantustans. As long as Israel remains an ethnic Volk state, based on identitarianism, tribalism and religious exclusionism, then there will be conflict.
This does not imply the loss of identity, ethnicity or religion. What it does imply is that supremacism, such as white supremacism in the southern U.S., or apartheid, such as that practiced previously in Zimbabwe and South Africa are untenable social situations which cannot survive the scrutiny of of a candid world forever. The barriers, checkpoints and settlements may aid in insuring a little temporary security, but in the long run they are doomed as they provoke a seething resentment which will, in the long run, become greater and greater-the lid on the pot of boiling water.”

“This is pretty much par for the course in our culture. People will hear something on Oprah and then read "Earth in the Balance" by Rev. Al Gore of the Great Green Religion, and get all "concerned" and when "critical mass" (read marketability and profitability of the "crisis") is reached, then a "Union of Concerned Scientists" will pop up with government funding or founded by one or other of the great foundations (Rockefeller, Ford, Carneige) and will serve as an ad hoc body to confirm that the scientific consensus is that everybody else (scientist or otherwise) who disagrees is in the pocket of some other (usually malign) competing interest and brand all dissenters (again, scientific or otherwise) with perjoratives like "denier". The timetables for catastrophe will consistently be pushed back as, it will be claimed, government actions have led to significant improvements, but it will never be enough, until a more effective (and lucrative) crisis can be hijacked and managed by the powers that be.
This is a pattern: Climate Crisis, Energy Crisis, Ozone Crisis, etc. ad infinitum. The oligarchs manage the manageable population via the constant fear of "crisis".

“This is a very good point. Malthus was proved wrong time after time, yet he remains a patron saint of the anti-population crowd.
Malthus clearly did not understand that, if population grows "geometrically", technology can easily outpace population growth insofar as providing for the needs of humanity as generations of improvement in the standard of living parallel to enormous growth in the population have shown.
The only counter-argument that the Malthusians offer is, "this time is different-we are facing an unprecedented catastrophe" and talk on and on about lifeboats and carrying capacity as if these were new concepts, not just some speculations of a Renaissance oligarch.
Whenever you hear the words-"impending catastrophe-urgent action required-inevitable effect-may be too late-" know that you, the taxpayer, will be footing the bill one way or the other.
It's funny, the same nostrims apply to population control, carbon emissions, and climate change in general, etc.-"we" must do "something". The problem is "us"-never me. Which is why it's easy for the prophets of Greenism to preach to others about lifestyle changes, and "cutting back"-which is why they revere and extoll the aboriginals who barely survive from hunting and gathering as living in "earth saints" " living in harmony with the planet" from the comfort of their palatial eco-tourist digs, while never once suggesting that they, themselves, should practice a little more and preach a little less.”

Why Politics-As-Usual May Mean the End of Civilization

“Climate change-whether anthropogenic or not-is something that has always occurred in earth's atmosphere-from the Medieval warming period to the little Ice Age that lasted well into the 18th century. If greenhouse gases are indeed the cause of potentially harmful climate change, then, as they have always done in the past, human beings will react and find a solution, based on science and technology-not so difficult in this case as the technology has been around for almost 70 years.
Of course this will not do for the Eco-priests of the Great Green Religion. The Eco-priest hierarchy doesn't want solutions, they want a blank check book, a frightened population and the projection of an ever darker apocalyptic scenario to fuel the fear. They are the left equivalent to the right wing rapturists.
"Denier" is the new word for heretic in the Great Green Religion. The secularized and self absorbed West no longer has any stomach for the moral demands of the old religions. Now this new Greenism comes along, which makes no moral demands on the individual per se- and is all about concern for the actions of humanity at large-eschewing personal responsibility, it's all about collective guilt, so guilt is projected onto "us". "We" (except for those of "us" who live as hunter gatherers in the rain forest) are equally guilty, and "we" must all make "sacrifices" to mitigate or ward off the impending environmental "apocalypse".”

“Oh, please. Go read Jim Hansen's Storms of my Grandchildren. Hansen is arguably the world's best climate scientist. His book is due out tomorrow, although my local bookstore is already shelving it.
No, the climate change occuring today is in no way analogous to anything the Earth has ever experienced, because it's occuring at a rate the planet cannot absorb. Jim Hansen is not a priest. He's a very humble man and a scientist, and in his book he describes the agonizing mental process he went through to convince himself that he needed to go beyond merely being a scientist to trying to educate the public.
As for mankind being so brilliant as to be able to resolve such a problem, well, that's the whole point. We have a huge problem and we have the technology. The point is we need to apply the technology to solve the problem NOW.
So please, no more nonsense about eco-priests and collective guilt. Scientists are not witch doctors--they're scientists. Go educate yourself and read that very important book.”

Yep, we must do our "penance" and say our rosary - because we are all sinners.
Amazing how puritanical the American people can be - it is almost sick.”

Palin's Father: She Left Hawaii Because Asians Made Her Uncomfortable

“This obsession with Sarah Palin could very well backfire, because the more negative and critical press she gets from the left will just fire up her base, give her free publicity, and keep her in the national spotlight.
I seem to remember another Republican that the left considered a laughing stock and a lightning rod for criticism. One joke after the other preceded the "amiable dunce's" (a.k.a. Bedtime for Bonzo Ronzo)
eight year tenure in the Oval Office, from which he proceeded to gut the American economy and spend us into the financial crisis in which we now find ourselves.”

“Please don't make this a "Left vs. Right" issue. Any semi-competent person, Left or Right leaning, can clearly see how ill-prepared Palin is for politics on a National and/or International level.

“Sure it fires up the base, but it also fires up those who vehemently oppose her and don't want her anywhere near the WH. And those people far outnumber the base. She is not attracting any moderates or independents with her behavior, I assure you. And there's a big difference between her and Reagan. Reagan may have been just some good-looking B-movie star, but he took the time to educate himself. He read and wrote. I don't see any evidence of Palin educating herself or bettering herself for national office. She's just picking up money.”

America Without a Middle Class
Commented Dec 03, 2009 at 10:09:09 in Business
“One of the prime reasons that the middle class is dissapearing in the US is the fact that the Democrats, far from fulfilling their role as the champions of the lower and middle classes-were so bedazzled by the phony propaganda of Reaganism, trickle down, free trade, globalization and privatization that, in many cases, their economic platform is just a pale imitation of their opponents across the aisle-as perfectly exemplified by Bill Clinton who took up the economic causes of his predecessor with scarcely the blink of an eye-think NAFTA, the repeal of Glass-Steagal, Welfare "reform", the hyperventilating about the glories of globalization, etc.
Obama's economic advisors, especially Clinton retreads like Summers are just plain awful, an extension of the Goldman Sachs-JP Morgan tweedledum -tweedlede e that could care less about the American people, American workers, or the American standard of living and seeks to maintain control over both parties by the dangerous illusion that (at the leadership level) there is a real difference.
It used to be, long ago, that the Republicans were the party of economic responsibility and the Democrats the party of economic progress. Now, the Republicans have become the party of economic demolition, with the Democratic leadership happily doing much of the heavy lifting.
The Democratic party needs to reform and start to think about its base-organized labor, smaller small businesses, lower income families, family farmers (if indeed they exist anymore)”

“Lost in this diatribe of intricate backroom mover shaker dealers is that failure does not happen by osmosis. It is planned, executed and meant to happen from the top on down. And the top is not defined by our helpless leaders. But the money masters behind the scenes who pull their strings, control the covert tanking of the US economy and have an oh so obvious death wish for America.”

“No, the Democrats since your universal hero FDR were bedazzled by the Soviet way of redistributing wealth, creating and maintaining absolute control, enriching themselves and their friends and creating subservient, dependent classes. Remember that at its height the WPA had more than 20 million men working for the government ....and those who entered into that voluntary servitude to the political class (like my grandfather) got a few more goodies than the average person in exchange for putting the chains on his own wrists.... the government has the means to control your personal wealth through taxation, fees, regulation of inflation, controlling the distribution of supplies and goods (FDR's good old ICC) and the force of law....the y can bankrupt anyone they choose (ever see Enemy Of The State?), and guess which party controls the government? So quit laying the blame solely on the Republicans; the Democrats have been equally culpable in the crimes that have been perpetrated on the American people....”
