“Everybody should know by now that a potential, probably fictitious nuclear weapons program is more dangerous to world peace than a real nuclear arsenal complete with ballistic missiles and boomers located at the very center of the Mideast cockpit.
It should be crystal clear that 2 and 2 sometimes make 5, that truth is a lie, that war is peace and that freedom is slavery for thus have I ever been told by MInitrue-and we are at war with Iraniraqistan. We have always been at war with Iraniraqistan. Posters of Saddam Osama bin Achmadinejad will be available for national hate week.”

“New rules for anti-proliferation:

1.If you have nuclear weapons and actually use them on defenseless civilians, that is alright, if you are the first.

2.If you develop a nuclear arsenal and refuse to acknowledge it, that's fine too, as long as it is a "secret" and you have enough "friends" in the U.S. Congress

3.If you develop your own nuclear weapon in open defiance of the "international community" that's okay too-if you are strong enough militarily, possess no valuable material resources and your dear leader is psychotic.

4. If you sign the NPT, cooperate to a certain degree, have no nuclear weapons, yet possess the potential to become a number 2 or 3, but declare you have no such intentions and are threatened by a number 2 with nuclear annihilation, then you are guilty in the eyes of the "international community" and must pay the price-lose your sovereignty, face crippling sanctions, regime change, or maybe even nuclear incineration.”

“Even the official narrative no longer contends that the planes impacts or the exploding jet fuel caused the collapse of both twin towers-the official legend is now that hydro-carbon based office fires weakened the structural steel enough to create a failure in the trusses which began to sag and caused the floors to collapse. The likelihood of this scenario unfolding in the real world approaches zero in a probabilistic sense.

A simple gravity collapse does not explain:

Why the towers exploded outwards, turning virtually all the non-steel materials into a fine (and toxic) powder, and with sufficient force to eject steel beams horizontally for hundreds of feet.

Why the towers both experienced instantaneous and universal support failure and collapsed in a symmetric fashion at a speed approaching free fall.

Why WTC-7, a 40 story steel and concrete skyscraper which was not hit by a plane and was only damaged by debris from the twin towers and had only a few isolated fires, collapsed at free fall speed into its own footprint later that afternoon in a manner virtually identical to buildings that undergo controlled demolition.

Why trace particles of unexploded nano-thermite have been found in the dust-debris from the WTC gathered from three different locations in lower Manhattan.”

“A characteristic 180 degree distortion of reality "Israel defending itself..." Yeah, right. Iran represents no existential threat whatsoever to U.S. welfare recipient #1. Iran is a hindrance to U.S. dominance in Central Asia and the Persian Gulf and to Israeli hegemony in the greater Middle East, so that is why it must be villified, demonized, bullied and threatened with nuclear-yes-NUCLEAR-annihilation at the hands of "the only democracy in the Middle East" by none other than that great humanitarian Benny Morris (no doubt speaking on behalf of the regime).
As the years go by, fewer and fewer people are being suckered into the myth of " brave little Israel under attack by Arab (now insert 'Persian') hordes who want to drive her into the sea."
The fact is that Israel has, even since 1948 always possessed military superiority over her adversaries thanks to military aid from the European nations-first Czechslovakia and France, now her (once) rich Uncle Sam.”

“Precisely-the (Dutch Reformed Church?)Pilgrims were an offshoot of a fractured Christendom, but an offshoot none the less, and as such, were imbued with the intellectual curiosity which characterized the Western culture from the time of the pre-Socratic philosophers, through Plato, Aristotle, Philo Judaeus, Plotinus, St. Augustine, Origen, St. Cyril of Alexandria, St. Thomas Aquinas, Matteo Ricci, Nicholas Cusanus, Kepler, etc.-but in this regard, they were certainly preceeded in the new world by the Spanish, who founded the first 2 universities (in Mexico City and Lima) in the western hemisphere nearly a century earlier in the 1530's.
Nevertheless, to claim that the European colonists came to exterminate the indigenous population (via an application of the principles of the as yet unknown science of epidemiology) is simply absurd, since, in the case of the Spanish, the Portuguese and the French, such a thing was totally contrary to the missionary effort led by people like Zumarraga, De Las Casas, Marquette, Kino, Salvatierra, Junipero Serra, etc. who have been the subject of much vile calumny lately, inspired by the ludicrous fantasy that the indigenous peoples of the Americas lived in some pristine paradise in unity and gentle harmony, ruptured only by the advent of the predatory (and Christian) "white man". (Think of Cortez's alliance with the Tlaxaltecans against the bloodthirsty Aztecs)
Europe has her sins, no doubt, but it is likely that the victims of the 30 years war suffered far more than the native Americans.”

“Hopefully this is just a joke to show the abysmal depths to which the American public school system has descended. One embellished narrative myth (Pilgrims, Plymouth Rock, courage, piety, religious liberty) has given way to a farce that is a culturally suicidal, anti-Western wallowing in a masochistic self-inculpation-the European, Christian "white man" destroying the "magnificent and gentle" indigenous culture (in this case the evil deed was accomplished via the as yet unknown science of epidemiology, no less)
Rousseau's absurdities about the "noble savage", as well as the viral upchuck of the Frankfurt School and its counter culture have created what can only be described as an anti-culture of stupidity, historical cluelessness, aesthetic and spiritual nihilism, which twists the facts, glorifies the ugly and the perverse, and disdains the beautiful, the good and the true.
Western Civilization, despite all its sins of commission and omission, despite all its wars of religion and colonialism is still the cultural high point of human civilization, and its best elements-such as classical music, art and architecture, legal concepts of inalienable rights, universal and abstract morality, social progress and economic and educational development-are more and more appreciated by those peoples up till now outside its sphere-yet discarded by the nihilists who are its chief beneficiaries.”

“Religious liberty? In America? The place where people are fired and ostracized daily for being non-Christian? The place where there are some communities where it is unsafe to voice disbelief in a deity that has been historically used as an excuse for killing more people than any other cause? The country where Europeans, not necessarily Puritans to a large degree, killed millions of indigenous peoples simply due to the belief that "dark skin"="cursed of god" propagated in many Christian sects to this day? (i.e. Mormons still believe that black skin is the mark of being the cursed offspring of Cain)

Even removing religion from the debate momentarily, there was a firm belief for centuries among Europeans that darker skinned people were of a lower order of species, somehow flawed. The extermination of the native tribes in America used this belief as an excuse allowing otherwise "good Christian" people to justify killing women and children. Many Christian ministers threw the weight of their pulpit behind the extermination of the native peoples for their refusal to accept Christ.

Granted the depiction above over simplifies it a bit but we can't expect children to depict rape, murder, village burning, and genocide.”

“The whole idea of limited government is about guaranteeing inalienable rights. The right to self-defense is acknowledged to be the first inalienable right. A government that mistrusts its citizens and deprives them of this means to self-defense is a fearful master and can itself not be trusted to guarantee any rights, as it has begun to think of those it governs as subjects, not as citizens. This is the one giant leap wherein a republic that is governed by the rule of law becomes a tyrrany governed by executive fiat.
The bottom line is this-there is no statistic that can compare with being confronted in one's own home by a criminal intruder and lacking any effective means of defense. What does the gun control lobby expect citizens to do-tell the intruder-"wait a minute while I call the cops. When you hear the siren outside, then you can start attacking me"?”

“First of all, because people on the Jacobin left have been brainwashed to attribute virtually all of the world's ills to something vague called "religion" in general, and Christianity in particular-and having an extremely limited historical perspicacity, think of Christianity chiefly in the context of the Inquisition, the Crusades, and the "extermination of native peoples" as if the intervening centuries between the fall of the Western Roman Empire and the Renaissance saw no civilizing of Western Europe, no birth of the universities, no flowering of philosophy, no magnificent art and architecture or music-no Augustines, no Dantes, no Thomas Aquinas, no Leonardo, no Palestrina, no Charpentier, no Nicholas Cusanus, no Abelard, no Dante, no Boccacio, no Rafaele, no El Greco, no Beato Angelico, no universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Paris, Bologna, etc. Nope-it was just a bunch of "Jesus Freaks" sitting in caves, sharpening their spears and figuring out how to kill, maim and spread epidemics to "native peoples". Not to mention that a united Christendom under the suzerainty of the Bishop of Rome is the chief reason that most of those of European heritage do not heed the muzzein's call and bow toward Mecca thrice daily. Oh, and by the way, most of the Muslims I have known respect the symbols of Christianity much more than these sophomoric children of the Frankfurt School.”

Imagine Shakespeare writing pap for the pope...ewww!). But until the reformation, it functioned more as a powerful multi-national corporation than as a spiritual light in a dark world. So, like anything else, you have to weigh both the good and evil impact it had on humanity.
