Border Wall Resistance Heats Up

Border Wall Resistance Heats Up

Commented Jun 7, 2008 at 10:11:44 in Politics

“McCain is so determined that we should not lose the war in Iraq but he has very little will to protect and defend the homeland of the United States of America from the invasion and the drug gangs that are imposing themselves upon all people from all states to the extent that Americans are fed up with empty promises and collectively, we are demanding that we get the protection at the border with Mexico that we are entitled to under the Constitution. We retain the right to say "no" to the illegal entry, to the cost that the illegals are imposing upon us as a nation. We are tired of our elected cowing down to the Chambers of Commerce, they do not own us and are taking too many rights upon themselves and it's time to make them work within the interest of the country as a whole. (The same could be said about the speculators within the oil and gas supply.)
With our country in such a mess. We as a people are no longer content to watch this empty our wallets and remain passive. We have to gain control of how many immigrants that we allow to enter. .
Mr, President, you are supposed to be our president, not Mexico's. Build the fences, send in the people to promote placing wild life on both sides of the fence, and let our nation build itself back to it's rightful place in sociaty. A lawful country who enforces its laws.”

“Lou Dobbs had a strong response when the Treasury Department had given permission for the UAE to purchase ports in several places here in the USA. Treasury had not gone through the proper venting before they signed on to that deal. Lou called their hand at it. He has great credentials and well educated. Why can't we give him credit for telling America that we are losing our shirts to unwise business and trade? That is all he has tried to do, inform us when others only want to give us their warmed over news. I read that the USA has 38 million foreign workers now, both legal and illegal. How can we keep our living standards up if we have so many people here and willing to work for less than it takes us to keep a car?”

“Very well said zeezil.
Readers may also be surprised to learn that Mr. Dobbs is married to a LEGAL LATINA woman. He is not against legal immigration, he is against illegal immigration. He is also talking about the reasons that our ecomomy is failing. Why can't the people running for President of our country even understand the problems, or talk about why we got into this economic mess? Do you see Gutierezz doing anything that remotely helps our economy? Lou is simply pointing out that the US CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, and other Departments that should make this country prosperous has been turned over to people who have other agendas. All of the trade agreements with Latin American countries should be voided and allow them to sale their own crops or goods at their own prices and then we could say that they have fair trade. Even Mrs Clinton admits that her husbands NAFTA was horrible for both countries and didn't turn out as they had hoped. Remember when Americans started taking two of those $7.00 an hour jobs when Clinton was president?
Our country needs Lou Dobbs, perhaps coupled with Romney. When we get our countrys' business back on track, then maybe we can deal with bringing in foreign workers legally with the two year bio card. Illegals need not apply.”

Immigration = Terror. Be Scared and Vote.

“America has changed our tune. We want secure borders, we want people who entered into our country illegally to go home. We have to have the real ID or worker bio card, we have to have control of the masses of people, when the overflow is super high, and we find ourselves and our country headed into a deep recession, we cannot afford the illegals nor the immense cost of having them utilize our social services funds. Those funds are intended for the American families who may fall into bad luck. Congress must pass a law that requires the employer to verify that the workers is a legal resident of the United States and to scan all documents for fraud.”

“net50 so right!

You know,

you can go to most any country and they will let you in?

All I want: is to KNOW who is here. So give everyone a free ID, register the id and their fingerprints online. Require employers to check the online data base. Jail employers who try to under pay or take advantage of foreign workers. We CAN treat everyone as guest. With positive ID, we CAN remove trouble makers. We can require employers to give American citizens jobs before quest workers can be hired. This should reduce the influx of people looking for jobs to those jobs we want them to do.”

“Someone should get through to Lou that America needs his practical approach to bring our country back on track. I have listened intently, and the democrats are not listening to Americans on the illegal immigration issues. They will force me to vote in a different way than I wanted. Even four years with Lou working with people to get our economy back on track and cancel some of those trade deals would be reason enough to get him in there. I get so angry at the things that the contenders talk about. When our military people return and try to find jobs, there won't be any available because the economy has tanked. What ever our opinions on allowing Mexico's government to come as they please into our country and encourage their citizens to demand more of us, there will be a place where Americans will want them to go home and let them "build" their own country. Lobbyist have bought out our congress through and through. Within twenty years America's workers will be wishing to high heaven that Lou had run for President because the North American Union will have a strong foot hold in our lands and all peoples will be competing for jobs that will pay less. This country is losing it's ability to own our border and people are led to believe that it's harmless.
It isn't harmless. It is going to stop or hurt future generations of Americans to do as well as their parents have done. Short sighted elections, and they are all talking as though there are no consequences of the things that they are allowing to happen now.
Lou is a well educated man who has the guts to at least call out a warning. Wish that he would run on an Independant ticket.”

Lou Dobbs "Seriously Contemplating" Presidential Bid

Commented Nov 18, 2007 at 13:55:21 in Media

“Saw a book reviw this morning on C-Span that needs more of a platform in the political fray. It is called the "Immigration Solution" by Heather Mac Donald and Steve Malanga. Voters need to inform themselves to ask important questions to the Presidential candidates because this debate is more than opinions, once new immigration laws are passed we will have to live with those laws. This book is insightful and explicit on what our options actually are. Pass it forward...smile.”

“Watched a book review this morning on C-Span on the book "immigration Solution" by Heather Mac Donald and Steve Malanga. Perhaps after reading this book, we could have a more informed preparation for questions to ask the Presidential candidates. We need to have this issue settled once and for all before Congress starts more legislation to cement our Immigration Policy, and to learn exactly what America can do to promote a definative guide line for all who want to enter into our country and what it will do to the American workers as these pro and anti policies are made into law.”

Big Balls, Bigger Wall, Chertoff Lies, Wildlife Die

Commented Oct 26, 2007 at 14:07:44 in Politics

“Most Americans do want the border fences, and they are not using concrete. It is reported that 80% of Americans want a fence, need a fence, and demand a fence. Trouble is, the illegals are not just visiting relatives in California, nor just taking jobs that Californians don't want, they have spread into other states where they do not meld into the population. Some states do not have a Spainish speaking population and find the presence of the Latina population as costly, demanding special needs, change neighborhoods drastically, and most cases they are breaking our laws just by being here. When our government won't listen to it's majority of the population and do not protect our country, it makes life very unpleasant for the people who do not necessarily want their way of life changed by another country or it's citizens. Why can't states who want to participate in the Latina invasion have a green border around their state on the map, and, states who do not want to entertain them, have a red border around their state on the map? No one wants to hurt another human's feelings, but if our government enforced the border and our laws, we wouldn't even be seeing these people at all...they would have never made it to our state.”

“Notes from the late Reverend, left in his Bible for his family to read. I write it to you, not to argue, not to preach, I am not a preacher. I am only the typist.

St. John Ch.1-verse 1 In the beginning was the word, (this is Christ)
St John Ch,1-verse 14 And the word was made flesh.
Gen. Ch.1-verse 26 And said let US make man in OUR image after our likeness. < US used in that scripture means the trinity. God the Father, God the Son, and God The Holy Spirit.>
1 John Ch. 5 verses read 5-11
1 John Ch.15:16 Whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name. He may give it to you.
Mark Ch. 1 verses 9-11 We see all these Represented here. Heavenly Father's voice as Jesus was coming out of the water and the Holy Spirit is represented as the Dove. Also says the same in St. Luke Ch. 3 verse 22
Psalms Ch. 102 verse 25 Of old hast thou laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of thy hands.
After I read your comment I thought that I would show you these things that my father showed me while he was alive. It could be that you would learn from it and appreciate it. Who knows?”

“Southern voters in the boomer age haven't decided on who to vote for yet.
Clinton may have some women's votes, but not many guys will vote for her.
Mitt doesn't have our trust on illegal immigration, because "he did before he didn't" so the boys will not go along with that.
I would like to say that Huckaby would be good, except he let so many illegals into his state when he was the governor that we surely couldn't trust him for border security.
McCain scratched off for illegal immigrants getting amnesty and lost most of the south. Giuliani has nothing that a real southerner wants from him since we don't want same sex marriage, and saw him dressed in his "drag queen clothes".
Churches have taken illegal immigrants and hiding them in churches. We can't follow their example.
Even though Mary and Joseph had to come to register even when she was with child, because she was complying with the law that required them to register...imagine that...even Jesus family had to register in with the government...and it was made into the Christmas Morning Scriptures. Shussh....the illegals do not want to hear about following that example like Joseph and Mary, they want to hear the one about jumping fences and taking someone else's name and SS number. Merry Christmas anyway though.
Iraq said that they wanted zero Americans left there, with no airports, no American Embassy there...no oil deals to process the oil and supply finished gasoline.
The young men, who saw what they saw, got bit by bugs that we haven't ever seen, had bye letters from gals back home, and the democrats telling them how bad things are for fighting terrorist...they just want their college benefits. WE could save enough money to pay off China if we just put "a hold" on Congress and "hold" on the election for a president for the next four years.
Tell the Commerce and Trade Departments to take a century off. We need a sign "Closed until the borrowed money catches up to us"”

“Newt Gingrich has the best chance to win the southern states because so many people in the south haven't made up their minds. Possibly, if he were ready to jump in, he could even handedly take all of the Republican votes in the USA because the "right" doesn't like the double talk from the current forerunners. Also, the "christians" in the party do not endorse the stance of the forerunners as a conflict of interest in their beliefs. Even then, Newt Gingrich has one factor that will leave some "christians" out of his circle.
The immigration issue will take down any person with the southern voters because those states do not wish to participate with the immigrants as do some states with a heavy farming presence. Both legal and illegal immigrants are finding it harder to blend in with communities who have not ever had a Latina or Hispanic population and resent them being in the southern states. However, states who support the illegal and legal immigrants should let the migrants know where to locate because it could be a real pit fall in the upcoming election if southern voters do not see an honest attempt from the Congress and the Federal Government to pass serious laws and enforce current laws to stop employers from hiring illegal immigrants. Until the jobs dry up and the elected realize that Americans are serious about defending our country from the massive invasion that is taking place in every state, then they won't find a real solid base in the south to elect them into the next term.
Even the young twenties group are angry because they realize that they will be stuck holding the bag for the old folks medical cost and the low income immigrants who rely on federal and state social programs, which America's youth will pay taxes for. Students have the ability now to take this next election into their own hands, mostly to defend their own future and what they will be working for.”

The Perfect Solution For Immigration

Commented Sep 16, 2007 at 10:54:09 in Politics

“Why are Americans so blind as to assume that any person in the democratic party and some republicans, could manage being President of the USA? They refuse to listen to the American people as we shout that we want our Immigration Department to do their jobs. The very thought of testimony of what it would cost is phony. Any of the people who see themselves as our next president have had a chance to stop the illegal immigration in it's tracks. If you make it a nation wide law that employers MUST verify a persons legality to obtain a job in our country, then they would leave on their own.
We are not that dumb. These members do not have the nerve and grit it takes to be over our country's law enforcement or military. They have had the opportunity as a member of Congress to stop the never ending cycle on illegals entering our country. None of these people even slightly understand the rage that Americans feel, that Gutierrez is selling our borders to Mexico out of the trunk of his car in secret meetings, and none of Washington even pretends to pay attention. If presidential wanta be's cannot do anything to peacefully secure our country from within, they do not deserve being over our justice or military. Rather than forcing the illegals out by law, they simply want to change the law to cover the illegals. Who among them can do this job? The American working class do not trust anyone in the running currently.
They are selling us out to Trade, Big Business, and our tainted Commerce Department. We will all be working for peanuts before this congress leaves. Hopefully, we will completely turn over Congress to a new group of people who want to defend our country as we know it. Perhaps today's twenties crowd will vote this time for "what", or perhaps "who" they are willing to work and pay taxes for. Every illegal immigrant inside our country are dependents, costing them money, real money!”
