“You're right in one sense - it is an abuse of power by Issa. The IRS DOES have the right to investigate.”

“Oh dear, you have it completely wrong. What the IRS does not have the right to do is to discriminate, which it has clearly admitted to doing. THAT is not only abuse of power, but it is against Consitutional law and is a federal offense. If they had investigated both conservative and liberal groups equally, that would hae been one thing. But that IS NOT what they did. They targeted conservative and Christian groups for abuse and harrassment while fast tracking liberal groups. This is not IF, they have admitted to doing that.
There is no abuse of power by Issa since it is his job to get to the bottom of the entire ADMITTED offense and hold ALL those responsible accountable, no matter how high up it goes. This is America, not some dictatorship. He is part of the check and balance system that we have and thank goodness we have it!”
“Right. They also try to step to the front doing other crimes - asking to help investigate, etc. It's part of their MO. At the same time I have always thought this FACT is self evident, and should not be used by a criminal. Am I wrong? Do people ACTUALLY believe what he is saying? Does it really HELP him in his CAUSE?? Are his believers really so ignorant? Is he playing on ignorance in his supporters?? Apparently. f&f”
“Why is Issa so scared?? Is he afraid that he will be investigated next? Does he think the best defense is a strong offense? I think that is the "why" of his constant rants against the Obama Administration.”

“Any American with a lick of sense should be afraid and scared of this continuing abuse of power by this administration. It must be stopped and I wish Issa all the best in doing just that. Liberals are being foolish to not want it stopped along with the rest of the country because it could affect them next depending on who is in power. So be veeeery careful what you wish for.”

“Criminals always call for cops to go to jail, and Issa is a criminal.”
“The time has come to divert the "suitcases of cash" given to warlords in Afghanistan - which is used to perpetuate the war by the profiteers - to where it is needed here at home.
Oklahoma NEEDS the relief - they DON'T NEED COBURN and IMHOFE; and neither does our WONDERFUL COUNTRY!”

“I like your post very much. But the public in Oklahoma,LOVE FOX NEWS,The TV PREACHERS,and Limbaugh... They buy the Neoconservative/Flag waving, and phoney Evangelical Line in total. Let them be GREAT MURIKANS,and accept nothing but prayer.”

“The good news is Coburn has announced he won't seek reelection. The bad news is the folks in Oklahoma, given their track record, will vote someone of like or even worse beliefs into office to replace him.”

“Exactly! And do you EVER WONDER why--(since we're in Afghanistan)--that the fastest growing abused drug in the U.S for the first time in decades is (drum roll.....) HEROIN?!?!?
Ah, yes! Oklahoma SURELY NEEDS THOSE SUITCASES more than the OPIUM POPPY GROWING ECONOMY of Afghanistan!
