“For most of my life I have had symptoms of gluten intolerance including anemia and joint pain but only recently found out. For most problems of discomfort we are given medicine to treat the symptom without addressing the cause. For me the cause is gluten. I stopped cold turkey much to the disappointment of my tastebuds (sandwhiches are one of my favorite things to eat). After about 2 weeks I felt so much better that I no longer desired anything that contained gluten. Now about 3 months without gluten not only did my symptoms become virtually nonexistent but my skin started clearing up and I lost ten pounds.
Thank you for bringing this up - it changed my life.”

“Iwas exercising and eating a relatively healthy diet but still could not loose any weight. I have had stomach problems and anemia all my life. One of many nights I could not sleep because my stomach was upset - and I burped for about 45 minutes straight. I woke up the next morning and decided I had to figure this thing out - I realized something was really wrong. So I did some research and found out all of my symptoms matched a description of gluten intolerance. I cut out all gluten cold turkey which is no easy feat considering I discovered most of the food in my house contained it in varying degrees. After 2 weeks I felt like a new person. I lost weight immediately - still continuing my exercise regime which now actually started to show signs of defining my muscles. Nothing short of having children has changed my life so drastically. I have more energy and even feel more positive. Another side note - I generally would eat turkey or chicken about 5 times per week - sometimes for lunch and dinner, when I stopped consuming gluten the urge to eat meat started to dwindle to 2 times per week.”

Accelerating the rate of mutation? What mutation? Perhaps if you are a young asymptomatic carrier and you get the vaccine a mutation occurs? Not sure where you are going with this but I am not afraid.”

Stop trying to make those who choose not to get the vaccine feel like they are contributing to the spread.

As a parent we are trapped into vaccinating our children based on public school requirements.
We need to be able to make informed decisions and should not be scared or pressured into treatment or vaccinations for our children that we do not agree with.”

Math, being naturally logical makes more sense once you "get it". I am glad our educators are open to alternative methods like JUMP.
In this 21 century digital world we have many tools - but there is a need to bring our methods in sync with technology. Based on current trends like using video games to teach students it seems we are starting to put it together.”

“I think we can look at the article about the Ralph Lauren model to gain some insight into why so many women are not happy.
Perhaps women should stop trying to reinvent themselves via plastic surgery, botox, makeup, etc and just experience who they really are - not other peoples ideals of who they should be.
They have enough on their plates being the main nurturing figure in most households whether they work outside the home or not. With the first generation of children vaccinated against chicken pox about what... 14 years ago - the incidence of shingles has increased to the point where we now have a shingles vaccine.

Give parents the choice. Many will think like you and go for all of them, some might allow fewer, rare will be those who do not get any.
If most in our country are vaccinated risk of an epidemic i s very low. In fact if we put more into research we might find that we have developed a natural immunity to alot of the microbes.”

That should be a parental chilce and not a requirement to attend public school.
I am aware of the right to decline based on religion but not because you as a parent feel it is not right for your child.”

“Truth be told record companies are becoming obsolete. Unless they get with the times and figure out a way to embrace new technology instead of suing and crying about downloads they will perish. If they spend half the money paid to attorneys to prosecute illegal downloading to people with some forethought they will survive.
Technology has made it possible if not probably for musicians to maintain creativity, sell their tunes, and promote concerts.
Underground artists are being recognized more everyday and most promote themselves through the internet.”

“Prevention is key - no matter where you are in life or what condition you are currently in.
If we all start keeping our minds & bodies fit we will heal faster - stronger.
Do any insurance companies cover preventative programs or do we have to be injured, sick, or stricken before nutritionists and physical therapists are deemed necessary?
Also, some doctors tell their patients they will be on medication for the rest of their lives – BP, cholesterol type meds – this seems unethical, basically wrong, and pointless.
Of all the things we are capable of controlling our physical state of being is the easiest to change.”

“Okay - I am sure some people have some form of ID or address on or in their suitcases. Does this company send people their luggage if phone #, address etc is inside the case?
Seems unfair to travelers - kind of has a bad karma feel to it.”
