This will be the same as the stimulus bill. We give up everything to get 2 votes if we are lucky.
We have a mandate, and no public option.
I hope nothing passes if this is the best they can do.”

“I recorded you on CNN this morning and have watched that portion a couple of times. You were great! Once again, you have increased my pride for being Liberal Democrat. Thank you for speaking truth to power. I am a huge supporter of our president, but this was just plain wrong! There should be a thorough investigation into what happened on that horrible day eight years ago on the 11Th. Even if those in the government were not directly involved, their negligence made it all possible. And there is nothing wrong with wanting to know the truth!
Thanks, David. You are my absolute favorite journalist.”

“Actually given that the Presidency, both Houses of Congress, and a majority of Governorships are Democratic and that we have managed to establish state control of the two largest banks and two largest auto manufacturers (handing over control of GM to the UAW after extorting the noteholders into surrendering their legitimate rights) it seems pretty clear that power is totally in the hands of the left. Glenn Beck merely surfaced statements Van Jones actually made, showed videos he actually made and surfaced a petition he actually signed. Glenn Beck is quite literally speaking truth to power.”

“No, YOU have a poor understanding of both grammar and the Constitution. There IS a grammatical error (a misplaced comma).
"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; ..."
Because of the comma after "Citizen of the United States" the phrase "at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution" MODIFIES BOTH CLAUSES! That means both natural born citizens AND a Citizen of the United States MUST have been citizens at the time of the adoption.
So, do we REALLY want a strict interpretation of the Constitution? There's even a spelling error. (the Time of chusing the Electors.. .chusing? Really?)”
