“When someone is incarcerated for using drugs for 5 years, and 31 months more, for resisting arrest because he thought the cops were going to kill him, and has been clean for the entire time in prison, finished 35 hours of college courses, has a menial job that pays .60 a day, and doesn't have one write up, it is time to let him go. Instead, the prison system, gives the case manager total power over him regardless that the Parole Board referred him to Community Corrections. The Colorado Department of Corrections says that the Parole Board has no say in the matter. (why have on then?) and then moves the inmate, from private prison to private prison, before finally, sending him to a state DOC which has much better facilities and Therapeutic Community which he qualified for , 1 1/2 years ago. No criminal record other than the resisting arrest which got him an assault charge even though the cops came without a warrant, to come in, and the inmate didn't want them to come in and refused the cops entrance. I was there, so I'm a "victim" which I am NOT A VICTIM. This young man is my son and wasting away in prison. The Judge took me OFF as a victim but it pops up continuously, so they want to cut our contact and visitation.

“Read "The Link" by Colin Tudge. It gives an interesting perspective on how we evolved and what all had for dinner. Fruit eaters, meat eaters, veggie eaters, some ate both. Who know how you evolved? I feel like one has to go with instinct on food. I have a vegan friend who eats nothing from an animal.
I am a meat eater who loves fruits and veggies. I would like to eat less meat but can't see a time when I would ever stop. It does bother me how animals are treated so I try to buy organic meat, cage free eggs, etc. It is difficult to give up steak and hamburger. I stopped eating pork because I love pigs.
Geez. I hope no one eats me in a future life.”
