“I respect the Republicans' commitment to holding to their values and beliefs even though I think their values and beliefs are entirely wrong on almost every score. If the Democrats were a lot more fierce in holding to their professed values (the ones they tout when they come asking me for money) I would have a lot more respect for them as well.
