Social programs, infrastructure, schools, health care, you name it--out it goes or goes on the cheap while we pour billions down the rat hole of another imperialist war against a bunch of half naked, religious wingnuts with obsolete weapons but a great organizing tool--American presence and the killing and mistreatment of the locals so say nothing of our being in bed with the most corrupt elements of the country. “Guess you weren't around when we Democrats elected Johnson because Goldwater wanted to fight communism everywhere. Vietnam was a Democrats' war (Kennedy and Johnson lied us into it and couldn't get out.) Now Bush got us in but Obama will take us deeper and for what exactly. Kennedy was bright and exciting and so is Obama but if Obama goes the way Kennedy did we will come to see him as a failed president who took us deeper and deeper into a futile war. “Let's bring back the draft and start drafting the sons and daughters of the middle class and see how long Americans will support this senseless war. Its the end of American Imperialism--sending paid soldiers who come from the underclass--to fight on foreign soil to protect American resources and companies (oil, baby, oil and giving simple honorable and "reasonable" reasons for why we are fighting, dying and killing there. “I respect the Republicans' commitment to holding to their values and beliefs even though I think their values and beliefs are entirely wrong on almost every score.
