“If that is so, why hasn't Israel attacked for the past 8 years that they've been threatening to do so?”

“As Gary Sick would say, it is BECAUSE they've been threatening to do so. Sort of the "Overt Covert Strategy" - empty saber rattling. In the past Israel generally hasn't broadcast major strikes.”

“BibiJan,
Iran has responded with a very rational compromise that addresses the "concerns" of the "West". This article purposely omits that and calls the counter-offer a rejection (which, technically it is... but it does not portray Iran's intent to not negotiate at all). The AP = All Propaganda. My friend works for the company and he picks and chooses what stories will be sent to media outlets. He is given kickbacks all of the time.”

“Does anyone else notice that the Associated Press is always behind the articles that make Iran look like a regime intent on nuclear destruction?
The truth is that Iran has not necessarily been foot dragging, more so than giving reasonable counteroffers to the offer that was made by the West. If these are negotiations, why does Iran have to accept the offer verbatim? Is it wrong for them to be interested in their own national security? Are they violating any international laws? (No.) Have they actually made threats to any other countries? (No.) The media is playing a dangerous propaganda game. What will happen when the public realizes that they've been lied to all along about the Iranian bogeyman? They fooled us about Iraq and now they're doing it again to try to cripple Iran economically for Israel's benefit. The US saw what the Iranian people do when their rights are taken, what will the US citizens do when they are lied to and their children are sent into wars to die for Israel's political needs, yet again?
The Iranians have proposed that the Low-Enriched Uranium be sealed off and protected 24/7 by UN inspectors within the country's borders while they purchase the 20% enriched Uranium from any NPT member willing to sell it. That is in full compliance with the NPT.
People see through this type of garbage. Sheeple eat it up.”

Who is trying to say that Iran is a nuclear threat when it consistently refutes such statements? Israel and the US
Who has more UN resolutions against it than any other country? Israel
Who has been in conflict and war in its short 60 year existence? Israel
Who should be the focus of nuclear talks and inspections? Israel
Which country has been subjected to the most rigorous UN nuclear inspections ever and no evidence STILL exists that they are deviating their uranium for bomb making purposes? Iran
So why do you think Israel is the focus? Stop the hazbara garbage.”

“Mysterious unnamed Western diplomats and "analysts".
Sharmine Narwani, an HP blogger, wrote about this, "Since this summer, the IAEA has criticized these unauthorized and politicized comments to the press by "diplomats." They even went so far as to issue an unsolicited statement to the media in August over one of these incidents.
IAEA Spokesperson Marc Vidricaire:
"Regrettably, time and again unidentified sources feed the media and Member States with misinformation or misinterpretation... Needless to say, such allegations have no basis in fact."
I have been in touch with the IAEA for a few months now for some ongoing research on the Iran nuclear story, and I am surprised that any decent journalist still quotes unnamed diplomats, particularly after ElBaradei personally lashed out at these sources:
"Agency head El Baradei went out of his way to dispute claims by several countries, including France and Israel, that the report results were cooked, saying that these accusations "are politically motivated and baseless." You can see the article I wrote on the disclosure of the Qom plant and how it was done - here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/sharmine-narwani/lights-camera-action-why_b_300914.html
The Associated Press story is utterly meaningless until and unless there are revelations that the IAEA discloses to that effect in its official report due out this month. And I seriously doubt there will be any given ElBaradei's recent NY Times comments, as many readers have now pointed out to you."”

Not that you wouldn't suspect bias if 5 of the policy experts were Israeli either. While they all have impeccable academic credentials, a Ph.D. has never gotten in the way of being closed minded.
I would be remiss to also point out that one of the professors/experts (Mohsen Milani) has taught at a school (University of South Florida) that has hired several professors that have been known to be in strong opposition to Israeli policy.
To include:
Former Professor Ramadan Abdullah Mohammad Shallah a founder of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).
Former Professor Sami Al-Arian a convicted supporter of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). Mohsen Milani testified as a character witness for WISE and Al-Arian at his conspiracy trial in 2005.”
