“I live in Santa Monica, and took our kids trick or treating for Halloween. After a couple of blocks we noticed a car following us. Suddenly it stopped and two guys jump out and take start shooting pics of our kids. I'm about to go ballistic on them, when my wife says "Oh, that's Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner up there. Those must be their kids with ours."
They were really sweet and normal people. Their kids were fantastic with ours, just as nice as could possibly be.
“Whoever bought that kid a realistic looking gun deserves to be outed. The Cop was doing his job.”

“too bad the cop can just go home like nothing happened, emptied his gun out on a kid and then got a pat on the back from his boss with a atta boy........”

“Agreed.. Age doesn't matter when it comes to an AK-47 or imitation... Cops do not get a chance to inspect a weapon to see if it is genuine.. In some countries 10 year olds carry AK47's all the time and if they aim it at you and you hesitate for a second you are gone..
The question is why didn't the kid drop the fake gun when he was told to do so?”

“The cops are not supposed to fire unless the suspect fired first. Also, anyone could have seen this was a minor.”

“exactly. I can't figure out why the news refers to an ak-47 looking bb gun as a toy. It isn't a toy.”

“Yes the cop was so afraid for his life that he wasn't behind his car or in a defensive position. He was the aggressor and ended up murdering a child.
Whoever shot the kid deserves to be outed but not as much as those defending him.”

“The thing is you can go in to any sotre and buy a BB or pelet gun and it looks just like the real fire arm. Those "Toy Guns" are made to real looking. They need to be changed.”
“Oh please, stop trying to drum up controversy. XBox live has always been $60/month (and you can get it for less if you look for deals).”

“Actually it's $5 per month or $60 annually.”

“very true, but this really isn't drumming up a new controversy, it is one that has always existed. Some people don't like having to pay Gold membership to use Netflix or Hulu as examples. Personally I find it silly since you can just use a computer, but hey that is just me. (Also I use multiplayer so it doesn't really effect me). But it is not a new controversy.”
