“The middle class has all but disappeared thanks to Reagan. When Reagan came into office, mothers had the choice to stay home with their children, because families could live off of one good decent living wage and one bread winner. They talk about being the moral majority, but they are the ones who break up the family, cause both parents to work, sometimes even two jobs each in order to make ends meet. All the while, CEOs and executives have gotten raises and bonuses that equate to $500,000 a year, while 95% of us have seen our wages go down $2,000 a year. The cost of living hasn't gone down, but company profits have gone up, and production levels have gone up! In addition, they've sent all our jobs overseas then sit and complain about lazy Americans who won't work to get their own health insurance, even though most people can't afford the rates that the insurance companies are charging -- mainly because of what they pay their CEO's not their workers!

The war on the middle class began with Reagan and was almost won under Bushy and the republican majority. Now republicans are upset that we didn't let them finish us off!”
