“I wish people would stop projecting and complaining especially when they do not even know Obama. This is making the Rethugs charge that the Democrats are a party of whiners true. I dislike the extremes of both political parties. And which the baby boomer generation would just go away. What have they accomplished in their 30 years of having the reins of power. I'll take Obama' 10 months to the baby boomers 30.”

“It really strange that in one way we expect artists to more than human. Alot of us had painful childhoods inwhich we haven't dealt with totally and have to face constantly in interpersonal relationships with friends and love one. I guess because of his fame and money we demanded Michael to get over it. Strange. I don't think Michael had a happy and balanced life. I don't think most great artists do. It as if the pain they suffered fuels their creativity. You can name the artists in any field that had a happy and balanced life. Tom Hanks, Paul Newman and Paul McCartney. Even the artists I cited struggled to fine that balance. I too don't think that Michael was a pedopile. But his gravitational pull was toward children that he saw himself in. He wasn't just trying to relive childhood but was trying to heal the hurt of a child as if he was healing the hurt in him. Watching the This Is It movie just confirms that this was a great artist who was able to give it his all even with the chains that binded him.”

But it sickens me that women still think they have to deal with this crap to further their own ambition. Wasn't feminism supposed to counter that? Thank goodness I wasn't raised that way- my mother fled with me from her abusive husband, worked her way thru nursing school, raised me and my sister, became an distinguished professional in her career and later married a man who honored her with love and respect.

Yea, it took her longer to reach her professional height but she was proud that the acheivement was exclusively hers and she didn't have to warp her dignity in the process.”

We know John isn't that pragmatic but I expected Elizabeth would be.

I think the affair is a private matter and don't need anymore details but the lie and coverup is a public interest because the lie and cover up was directed squarely at the American people.”

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Obama knows this too well. You need a grassroot movement plus a President willingly to listen to effect change. Obama is a shrewd and ruthless (goodway) politican. He knows and protects his brand and core values to the upmost and leads people by not beating them over the head and say your position is wrong, do what I say. He listens, incorporates their language and in a socratic way leads them to his way of thinking and inspires them to follow his lead.

Name one President that ran as a liberal purist and won. None. End of story.”
