For those of you bleating on about getting Kucinich, Grayson or Kermit the Frog to mount a primary challenge to Obama in 2012, take a leaf from a lesson learned late from Ted Kennedy, who went to his grave lamenting the fact that he'd challenged Jimmy Carter in 1980. That gave the public the impression that the Democratic party was weak, divided and unfit to govern. That challenge sent scores of Democratic voters into the ranks of what later became known as 'Reagan Democrats'. That created Reaganomics, which deregulated Wall Street and started the clusterf*ck we are in at the moment.

Not voting, voting independent or radging up a Democratic politico to challenge Obama will unleash a hegemony of Republican rule that will grip this country like a vice and make Bush look like a lamb. It may even give you a Palin theocracy.

You need to grow up and stop taking on the opinions of the likes of Ed Schulz, Keith Olberman and 'others' in a position to know better. These opinionators are no better than their mirror images at Fox. They are after self-promotion. They don't give a rat's a$$ who's in the White House. In fact, a Republican would actually benefit them - they are high income earners and their taxes would be cut. Has anyone heard the teabaggers and the birthers lately? No? Well, that's because the base of the Left is doing their job for them.”
