“Have you ver watched that show because it sure doesn't sound like it ? Have you seen how Jon was the one bathing the children and dressing them and Kate did the cooking .TLC it is learnedeven provided a cook for them and took care of all their needs besides giving them a big fat check for the episodes .
Kate was the one always whining and biching about everything Jon did and ever once did I hear her give him any credit.
iI think you were cheated on and lost your objectivity that must be your problem otherwise you would have seen just how controlling Kate is. I used to cringe every time I heard her berate Jon ,,which btw she seemed to enjoy doing . Have you ever thought that maybe his out of control actions right after the separation was because he was angry at Kate for the way she treated him. Good god he must have watched the reruns and seen how bad she really is.
I had a cheat for a husband but I can be objective ! At least Jon didn't cheat until they wer separated mine cheated while we were together.”

“Kate was an RN before she became a stay at home mom suppoted by her children .RN's get paid better tha the average person ,,at least enough to help support the children and Jon was a ITT tech which also is a good paying job. These two have skills to fall back on that isn't the proble the problem is Kate loves the fame and the money and doesn't want to give it up.
Jon had a good pointwhen he asked where the millions went that they were paid from TLC when TLC pays for all their needs and as he said heknows what the mortgage is ? Kate has been squirreling that money ay bets ?”

I really don't think watching a woman with 18 children and pregnant with another one while her sons very young wife has her first child at home is entertainment . Wher is the responsiblity here ?
Isn't this world populated enough without TLC airing some foolish show about a husband a wife who don't believe in personal responsibility . So when will TLC pull the plug on that show ,when the womans uterus explodes on TV ?”

“Maybe if Kate would have listened to Jon long ago when he said he wanted to quit the show she could have saved her marriage ,,,or not .
Many times the children looked sad when they were on the show and frankly I think this is the best thing that ever happened to these children although it will take therapy to help them throug it. The quintuplets have spent their entire life on TV so learning the difference between real life and acting might take some help.

You know what I don't understand . How Jon went from the victim to the villian?
I can only imagine that Jon felt like a prisoner who was finally free and went a little crazy with the freedom ,but that doesn't change the fact that Kates controlling ways and not wanting to compromise in her marriage was the cause of the split .
TLC should have pulled the plug as soon as they saw Kate getting out of control with the attention she got from doing the show .
It didn't surprise me that both Kate and TLC wanted to do a show without Jon since these two don't really have the best interests of those children in mind . Its all about the money !
BTW Jon had a point ,what did Kate do with the million + she got for the show ?
I don't believe a word that woman says and her crying with dry eyes doesn't cut it either”

I have lived in the south a few times during my life and mostly the people there are very polite and respectful and certainly don't deserve to be called inbreds just because their Congressman is an arse . “They have joint custody where he gets to live with the children in their home while Kate goes on her book tours or wherever she likes for a certain period of time and then Kate has her time to live in the home with the children while Jon goes wherever he likes so that they do not have to have any contact unless they are filming the show or they agree to it ,hense the reason for the bachelor pad in NY a place for him to stay while Kate is living at home with the kids and New York is not so far away from Pa .
He can not visit the children when its Kates turn to be living with them and neither can she which btw was the reason for the recent hassel when she showed up and wanted in the house when it was Jon's time alone with the children.

AlexDC I think your right that he didn't want to have it out in front of the kids which is also why the seperated visits so Kate won't be fighting with him in front of the children.

You know I am ederly and I had my problems with an immature man who after dropping his seed decided marriage and children wasn't for him but this is not what I see with Jon .
What I see is a young man who married a controlling woman and finally came to a point where he couldn't take any”

I am all for guns for hunting but not semi automatic machine guns etc .I am talking high powered riffles and shot guns If you don't own a business there is no reason you should have the right to carry a hand gun period. The Constitution is taken to extremes to mean something it was never meant to mean by the NRA and crazies who like to carry guns because it makes them feel like a bad ass !”

“Sorry but I disagree that all we saw was caricatures of these people .It was pretty obvious when they said or did something that was out of character especially Jon who is not a good actor ,but when Kate is angry you can tell she is genuinely angry it shows in her facial expressions .Nobody could have camera's following around them daily and never slip up and give the viewer a peak of their rewal personality.
When Kate is fake as she has been lately on the show to give the viewers a better opinion of her you see it in her body language that she is uncommfortable doing what she is doing or saying what she is saying . She never looks uncomfortable when she is degrading Jon but she does look uncomfortable showing affection to the children ,especially the boys.”

“I am a woman and I might add an independent woman but I have watched that show and seen the way Kate treated Jon and it really wasn't acting you could tell this is her personailty and if I were a man and married to Kate I would be screaming and heading for the door long ago probably before the 6 kids came along but then again maybe she wasn't always as bad as she got after she had a taste of fame .
The man has been astranged from his wife for quite awhile now and their divorce is soon to be final ,so when is it alright to start dating in your book ? If you think that Kate with her sarcastic mouth has been mother of the year to those children then I don't think you have been paying attention.Oh I suppose you haven't noticed how lately on the show she is seen doing all cuddly things with the kids ,taking them to the beach ,painting them with pudding ,camping out and cuddling with the boys .What you think that is all genuine ? Then why didn't you see kate acting like that in previous shows instead of focusing mostly on her and her sarcastic mouth ?
Kates no victim here in fact the only victuims here are those poor children who never asked to be born into this TV world their in.”
