I don't think he is overwhelmed by the plutocracy or overrun by them; I thinks he is a "limousine liberal" like them, and probably wants to be in their plutocratic club. Why else would his cabinet and team be overrun with them like cucaraches (or boils) - He might have to cut Geithner loose, because since some of us started making big noise a year ago at his and Summers's appointments, that yelling has turned into a roar of anger from his former "base." At least a lot more people see that the emperor has a codpiece left at best.

“I went third party, I couldn't support anyone who voted for FISA, it was a decision I don't regret. I felt at the time that Obama was to good to be true, that all he had was a campaign slogan and it appears that's true. The answer is in third parties, we keep electing the same people to congress over and over again, we elect ineffectual leaders, and then complain when nothing really changes.”

“The filibuster should NOT be abolished. It should be enshrined in law, so that it will stay at 60 votes needed for cloture. The reason for the filibuster in the first place is so that majority rules cannot override minority rights. That should stay there.
As for your second point, THAT I totally agree with. We should include in the law making filibusters stay in the Senate, we should include language that in order to filibuster, you must either keep talking, or have at least 60 votes arrayed against you...”
