Nicole Kidman: I Tried 'Strange Sexual Fetish Stuff'

“arabianway, Tom Cruise's exact words at the time were: "Nic knows exactly why we're divorcing. .." Which did lead me to believe Nicole was cheating on him even though it was never in the media. But to give her credit, I remember reading an article about her saying that she went weeks, months -- perhaps even 'years' -- WITHOUT SEX when married to Tom. So I don't blame her for finally cheating.”

“Michael's children are truly beautiful!!! I'm only sad that it took his death for the world to finally see them without veils and masks but I do understand MJ wanting to shield them. What parent doesn't want to shield and protect their children from this messed up world? To those saying his children are NOT his biological children, I say "Who cares if they are or aren't his biologically?!? Michael loved his children, and that really is all that matters." Would you say nasty comments to the parents of adoptive children?!? Don't answer that, you probably would. I think it's wonderful when couples adopt children, and we should all be encouraging adoption not knocking it! May God bless Michael's children, Paris, Prince I, and Prince II (aka Blanket).”

I don't think anyone has a problem with MJ's children being adopted per se. The arguments that I've seen are between people who know that they are adopted and people who actually think he is the biological father.”

SUSAN BOYLE MAKEOVER: She Dyes Hair, Wears Designer Clothes
Commented Apr 24, 2009 at 14:11:05 in Entertainment
“Huh? Why would Susan Boyle be "a staged event" when her voice speaks for itself. Do you really think the judges of "Britain's Got Talent" would not know if Susan Boyle was lipsynching her songs rather than actually singing them? I doubt it big time. Please don't be so cynical... we have enough cynicism in this world that we don't need more! Concerning her make over: Susan Boyle is a gift from God, and if she wanted to "feel better about herself" by dying her hair, getting a new hairstyle, and purchasing nicer-looking clothes, she has every right to do so without so many people judging her and/or being cynical about her talent!”

“No, but they MIGHT have known she could sing -- she has recorded before -- and moved her to the front of the line with the whole frump-as-angel angle in mind. Plus the whole thing had a staged quality to it -- the prolonged intro with those two yammering guys, whose reaction shots to her "sudden" display of talent were judiciously spliced in throughout. Now we learn that, presto, she has a multi-mill ion-dollar recording deal with ... Simon Callow. Yeah, it smells.”

“Not intrusive or appalling at all but all part of the package of being rich and famous, and these celebrities know that. They may all moan and groan about the paparazzi but if their pictures were not taken they would wonder why and think no one cares about them or what they do to entertain us. I think it was very classy of Liam Neeson to wave and smile for the photographer(s); his way of including Natasha's fans in her wake and funeral too. Liam knows that the public (his wife's fans) are all as shocked and devastated as Natasha's family and friends are so he let us into his personal life and that is truly classy. Thank you Mr. Neeson for sharing your's and your family's grief with your beloved Natasha's fans...”

“picard922, it's not just Irish wakes where there are plenty of laughs as well as tears but also at Italian wakes. I know this because I'm Italian American and at my dad's funeral 4 years ago we all celebrated his life along with mourning his death by telling stories about my dad that had us laughing a lot. It was a wonderful way to celebrate what my dad meant to all of us, so it's not just the Irish who laugh at wakes and funerals but the Italians too.”

Natasha Richardson Ski Accident (UPDATE: Actress Dies From Injuries)

“One night I was just putting my grocery bags into my car's trunk -- it happened to be a very windy night that night -- when all of a sudden the trunk slammed down on my head. Passersby who heard it said "OUCH! ARE YOU OKAY?" and ran over to help me. But I figured since there was no outward bleeding, cut or injury of any kind 'visible' that I would be okay. However, soon after getting home I started to feel nauseous and light headed (no headache, just nausea and light headedness) and called my doctor the next day so that he could check if I really was okay. Turns out, my doctor felt around in my scalp then said it was just a "bone bruise." So what happened to Natasha Richardson was just a freak accident and may have happened to her, helmet or no helmet. But the ski patrollers should have immediately taken her to the ER rather than waiting until her headaches became excriating ...”
lisakaz2 replied on Mar 19, 2009 at 14:08:51
“They urged her to seek medical attention. I don't know if they would feel comfortable forcing her do so. I bet one thing's for sure: they won't get an argument the next time they insist a client see a doctor. They'll say "Natasha Richardson said the same thing" and the client will back down.”
PoliticalAmazon replied on Mar 19, 2009 at 11:28:29
“It sounds like it wouldn't have helped because the injury (which sounds like was dramatically worsened by a preexisting condition) may not have shown up immediately on scanning.
Many of us carry unknown anatomical issues that will result in death or severe injury from a simple injury that would not have caused death or injury otherwise. It's nobody's fault. It's the luck of the genetic hand we are dealt, or how cells divide at a certain point in our development as a fetus.
By all acounts, she lived a great life, was a kind and compassionate person, loved her husband, two sons, and family. Her husband has their sons as living embodiments of Richardson.
It was no one's fault. Two or more conditions (fall and preexisting anatomical anomaly) combined to lead to her death.”

So please stop with the stereotypes and ageism b.s.!”

“The Canadian health care system is NOT to blame in this, it's the fact that she "appeared" okay and was actually laughing at her own clumsiness at falling that is the reason she was not immediately brought to an ER in Canada. The Canadians did everything the same exact way the Americans would have if Natasha had been skiing in America; when it looks like the person is not injured and they themselves even say they'll be okay that's what is so deceiving about falls! And is why everyone after a fall (no matter what kind of a fall or how little of a fall it may appear) should go to their nearest ER just to make sure there are no hidden injuries.”

Jindal's speech was not bad for a beginner oratorator although it seemed like he was trying way too hard to sound convincing to the American People for the benefit of the Republican Party; a party which has definitely lost touch with what Americans want from the government that works for them, not the other way around.”
