All personnel had the flu shot, including nurses, physicians and anyone in contact with patients, with the exception of those having documented allergy to the vaccine. It is to protect the patient first, the employee second. It is not reasonable to expose a patient to risk of what may be a catastrophic illness if they are elderly or immunosuppressed because you wish to exercise your right to refuse the vaccine. If you are employed by a hospital that requires the vaccine (as they should) and you refuse don't expect them to allow you to continue your employment. A job where only you suffer for your decision would be a more appropriate occupation than as a "care giver" where you are likely to make those already suffering suffer even more.”

“because they are protecting our countries interests overseas, we are in NATO we are obligated to protect NATO members as they have staff in the US. Because like it or not there are times when we should intervene against evil and we need the ability to do it in days not months. If the US wasnt stationed in south Korea there would be only 1 korea. Because if we dont have support networks in the middle east somali pirates would still be a serious issue. If we didnt have NATO bases the former republic of yugoslavia would still be a hell hole”
