“Indeed, and Ronald Kessler, author of the book, "In the President's Secret Service," has been proven correct. All those cuts in funding for the Secret Service Bush made before he left office has ended up, indeed, endangering Obama's life and our Nations security. Congress needs to pass a bill quickly that surpasses GW's cuts and allows Secret Service the funds they need to keep Obama and our Nation safe.”

Famous for Being Famous: The Sarah Palin Show Is On the Air

Commented Nov 19, 2009 at 07:04:10 in Politics

“except for the family and the silver spoon she's not alot different from GW... just a bit more exaggerated. he got elected as Prez.... do you think this country learned anything from where those 8 years took us? I think if she ever did get elected there would be a mass exodus of the most talented and intelligent people in our country. It's truly shocking to me to see these people who are her fans being interviewed saying they would vote for her for President. WTF??? is all that comes to mind. Agree with you big time Mr. Cesca ...thanks for writing this!”

“appears to me to be written for the whining disillusioned Obama supporters. a call to action rather than : "Whether to sit back and hope he does the right thing against the odds, growing cynical when he fails our expectations, or to stand up, mobilize, challenge the Congress and the President to get on with the change we need."”

“glancing at the comments I don't see where anyone has taken to heart Borosage's comments that Obama needs us to continue to push him to the left en force, with gusto. it's not enough to whine & complain and stamp our feet like a bunch of neocons:

"Whether to sit back and hope he does the right thing against the odds, growing cynical when he fails our expectations, or to stand up, mobilize, challenge the Congress and the President to get on with the change we need."

Borosage has spelled it out more clearly than I have yet seen. I'm sick of the whiners. if yov aren't doing anything constructive to help .....then yov have no business complaining!

Yov can't turn a monstrous ship on a dime if yov want anything better than mass confusion..and if yov swing it too hard one way yov'll be forced to bring back right of center in the end. but that's not an excuse to let up on pressuring in every way possible and without neurosis.... for reform”

“I've met quite a few "whiners" on here that are putting together that "independent movement" to push the President. There are many groups or coalitions you can join to keep pressure on the President. Some of them complain because they are working very hard and are being ignored.”
