“That is one of the funniest trailers I've seen! Haven't laughed so hard in a long time. It was so over the top it was rolling-on-the-floor hilarious. Have to thank them for that.
It just dawned on me. Do they expect people to pay to see it if they don't present it as the comedy it is?”

“Why do you assume that there are not liberals in the armed forces? There are many, including many of my relatives. My father, also a liberal, was active for most of his life. The military is not a left/right issue. These young people of all political stripes join the military for various reasons but when it comes to putting their lives on the line, they are there.
Now if you want to look at those who verbalize support of the military but whose actions only cause them harm, look no further than the past administration. How many died for this unnecessary war in Iraq? How many will never lead normal lives because of it? They were sent without adequate armor or equipment. You call that supporting the military? Those chicken-hawks such as Bush and Cheney who led us there should be behind bars.”

America Without a Middle Class

“The unions were never the problem. It was and is the corporations who outsource manufacturing jobs overseas to cheap labor and get their H1B visas to import cheap labor from other countries. Wonder why a programmer can't get a job any more? H1B visas.
The unions fought for a living wage for workers. The problem was that unions were restricted so that not all workers benefited and therefore, could not earn enough money to buy the products they produced.
Of course, so much easier to blame unions and the workers.”

“I live in Marin County too and although I'm not wealthy by any means, I love this area. Truly beautiful.
The sad thing is that there is a national minimum wage which does nothing to help those who work here in retail, etc.
Most salaries are higher though as the cost of living for housing is through the roof. Even with the housing market crash, it is difficult to purchase a home in this area for anything under $500,000. That said, my children were raised here and this is where I'm staying.”

During his campaign Obama said that this was a necessary war and now those who voted for him are slamming him for his decision to finish it?
People have their ideological frames of mind and are unable to see anything with clear vision.”

Obama spoke of not just a military plan but of a plan to strengthen certain areas by helping them become independent of the Taliban. That will definitely help to stabilize the area.
He is cleaning up the mess left by Bush. This area is extremely dangerous to us and we can't just walk away without attempting to create a safer area, for the American people as well as the Afghans.”

“We can't just walk away from the mess that is Afghanistan/Pakistan. There does lie a clear danger to this country in the people finding safety on the border of these two countries and we need to pay attention.
I can imagine the uproar after another attack. "Why didn't you protect us?"
Also, in his speech, Obama mentioned that they have captured those in this country who were trained in these areas to attack from within the US. Whatever he can do to stabilize Afghanistan and somehow get Pakistan to take care of those living in Pakistan who want to finish the mission of Al Queda, is not a bad plan in my eyes. I don't see how it can be done but to not try would be criminal.”

“The Huckster has done this before. In fact, he has commuted the sentences of more violent offenders than any other governor from Arkansas. This particular man had raped a young girl and I believe the sentence was upwards of 90 years which made it a lifetime sentence. Huckabee is completely responsible for putting this dangerous felon back on the streets and therefore, secondarily responsible for these deaths.
It seems that if you are "born again", no matter the crime, Huckabee will set you loose on us.”
