“It's not that it's a myth, it's that the idea is a generality, and in general most users will find it calming and not become violent. You're taking this generality and making it an absolute; of course not every single person is going to react exactly the same in every instance. There will of course be some people who react differently, and some may commit acts of violence while under the influence of marijuana. That's doesn't make the idea a myth. That's like saying the idea of anti-depressants is a myth because some users have committed suicide after taking them.”

“Taking the pattern in groups, alcohol has induced far more ruckus behavior than it has quelled. Gangs are hardly the standard for pot smokers, as most bangers are smoking weed because it's "cool," and then upping the ante to meth or ex or whatnot. But I'm confident you won't find a group of middle-aged pot smokers terrorizing anyone's neighborhoods. If you think that's not true of booze, I have two words for you: tailgate party.”
