I think you miss the subtle difference...on the surface it would appear
that the author, Mr. Lux, has resorted to the tactics of those on the
right, ie; attack the person, not the issue, a method you should recognize easily,
as you've just employed it in your comment against the writer.

How about offering up validation on Beck? We're waiting.............

Sorry for yelling, but that needs to be done when faced with "pie-prejudice."

Of the nearly dozen folks who were scheduled to attend the dinner to which
I was invited, when asked about mincemeat pie as a dessert item, each one
exhibited their mock disgust at the mere mention. When asked if they had
ever tried it...none had, but all felt that any desert that contained meat must be
awful and avoided at all costs.

Cut to the chase...I brought a wonderful mince meat pie to the dinner, warmed it,
and served each attendee a sliver, topped with a dollop of a fine vanilla ice cream.
Each requested second helpings and some went for a third. There was none left.

So much for the principles of prejudice.”
