“those who are starting to get tired of the coverage of MJ in the media, I have one word, "you aint seen nothing yet!" . I have been living in the US for the past 15 years and was surprised at how much attention was only given to negative stuff about him, because abroad, Michael is LEGEND, I mean HUGE!.
And get used to him being praised, because he will become bigger than Elvis/ and the beattles combined. the next few years will confirm what I am saying, I only hope that a good manager handles his estate and pays back what he owes. Yesterday I was watching a tribute to him with my son (7 y/o) he started crying, I have never ssen my son cry because of anything sad or happy he watched on TV.
I was a bit surprised but not that much, because MJ has entertained us all at any given time of our lives, and has donated 300million dollars to charities, and is on the guiness world record for the most charitable pop-artists. He deserves every bit of a good coverage he gets, because the media has destroyed this man, and never forget he was nevr found guilty of anything!. The media and tabloids cant be the new courts or justice system, it has got to stop.”

“I agree, the American media decided to label Michael Jackson, public freakshow no.1, years ago. And alot of people made money in the demonization of the man,...It became it's own cottage industry. I've already seen the likes of, Dianne Diamond, and Maureen Orth, on t.v. reminding people not to celebrate the mans impact on the world, without remembering that he was a monster pedophile, and world-class-weirdo, and Oh!,..You can read about it in the books they've written, and articles they've published,...They'll probably revisit their contempt for the man again,..And GET PAID!, CHA-CHING!
In reality, I found alot of, M. Jackson's behavior weird as well,..Especially his appearance by the end of his life. As a Black-American, it had a reek of self-loathing, and I totally understand peoples concerns over alleged pedophilia, that's nothing to take lightly. But he was never convicted of anything, and I always found the american medias tone to be that he had. That was wrong.”

“Good comment. I can't agree more. I like seeing the special Michael tributes, but I hate how virtually NONE of them talk about his amazing humanitarian spirit and everything he did for his causes. I also hate the fact that the media are simply exploiting MIchael for their own gain. They have done this before, eviscerating him over and over again. They made tons of money off him during his trial, and now through his death, they are making more money off him. It's despicable. I think this is why Michael didn't have his comeback concert in the US. You are right - abroad he is a freaking legend. At least he knew that people all over the world loved him.”

“Joe the Plumber said on fox news last night " I once was on welfare, my parents twice!" .
My question to Joe is " Where do you think welfare money comes from?", if taxpayers money helped you climb the social ladder, once you are pretty high up there shouldnt you return the favor, Selfish Joe.

Here is the video I posted on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnK84mM5N-o”

proudliberal4truth replied on Oct 21, 2008 at 12:47:41

“So, if Joe the Plumber benefitted from welfare three times, and is NOW (questionably) in a position to buy his own business, then socialism works!!! Conversely, if the neocons had their way and there were NO welfare programs in the country, Joe would have starved to death (along with the rest of his family). But Joe is a conservative???”

SwingingFromCenter replied on Oct 21, 2008 at 12:33:36

“Oh come on, everybody knows by now that "Joe" was a plant. He just wasn't vetted very well--just like Palin. They didn't realize that "Joe" didn't pay hos owed taxes anyways, and thusly wouldn't pay any increased taxes. They didn't check to see if "Joe" was really a plumber, or any of that other stuff. They just threw him out there and hoped it'd work.

And then it didn't.”

“Did you notice they they (the republican cult followeres) cheered for anything that apeared on that screen except for anything else that had to do with Blacks.

The republican Party of Lincoln then is better than the republican party of Bush now, you know why?, THe republican party of Lincoln moved foward and made things better for the blacks back then and wanted to change the status-quo, and if the republican party maintained that progressive attitude and improvement for the betterment for all citizens their convention would be as colorful as the democrats. for Al I know most republicans are just minority haters who use a legitimate party as their umbrella.”

RNC Video Diary: African-American Republicans Weigh in on Obama

Commented Sep 03, 2008 at 10:51:14 in Politics

“I am a black man and I didnt support Barack before, even up to the finish line of the primaries.
But this man has convinced me, not because he is black, but because he convinced me, that he has the vision to put this country back on the right track. Also it was reassuring that the MSM couldnt find anything wrong with Obama, instead that started ganging up on him because his preacher's sermons, and just started attacking him unfairly and distorting the facts, when it was clear to any human being that this man is being treated unfairly because he has a strong chance of becoming the next president of the United states of america, EXPERIENCE is overrated the last 8 years of Bush / Chenney and rumsfeld and condi attest to that.
(alan keys is black and I would never support him), so t's not a skin color issue, it's judgement, vision, and the ability to convince those on your side and those who are on the other side of the isle, and I believe when all the dust settles barack will do great things for the USA first and for the world.”

“Obama is showing tremendous leadership skills through his campaign. If the election were held today . . . . he'd have my vote and I've never voted Democrat in my life. If he can find a way to get the angry white man vote, he's got mine for the moment, he'll win. The tough part will be getting it without appearing too cynical.”
