“Not Really. They participate in elections and vote their own state legislatures and governor and CM.
Lot more than what Pakistanis and Chinese get to do.”

“Here is why the Kashmiris vote.
"We vote because this makes our lives easier - but this doesn't mean we don't want freedom,"
In the village of Samboora, residents said that Indian Army troops went from house to house on Saturday morning, rounding up families and taking them to a polling station. As a reporter drove into the village Saturday afternoon, an army vehicle with several soldiers stopped by the walled compound of Ghulam Mohammad, pulling the 59-year-old retiree onto the road. Seeing a foreign reporter, the soldiers jumped into their vehicle and quickly drove off. "They asked me why I'm not voting, and I said that's because I don't like any of the candidates," Mr. Mohammad said moments later. "They said, if I don't vote, I'll be sorry later.".
Here are some human rights violation.
"At the peak of Kashmir's peach and pear season, Hindu protesters in Jammu blocked the only highway linking the valley with the rest of India. With the fruit harvest -- the valley's key export -- rotting away, Kashmir's fruit growers' union called for opening an alternative trade route -- through Pakistani-held Kashmir. Defying curfew orders, on Aug. 10 thousands of fruit growers and separatist activists marched towards the cease-fire line. The protest column was met with gunfire from Indian forces. Fifteen marchers were shot de@d,"
"Lives are cheap in Kashmir,"
“you have changed the ethnic makeup of POK to a point, we cannot have a referendum. That would be like polling Pakistanis since you never vacated POK and have repopulated it with Punjabies. So its moot..and it ain't happening.
Dream on! while you self destruct! Bye Bye!
End of story!”

“I haven't change anything, I am express a historical fact. Its a shame that india continue to deprive the Kashmiris of their right to self - determination while at the same time committing massive human right violations in Kashmir.”

“True that..but its also the catholic creed to spread the message by doing good deeds..which some of these protestant movement totally reject. They consider it very inefficient to gain converts...they want the slash and burn conversion.
Which is what causes religious riots in India. and when that happens, the sight of the cross is enough to cause anger and reaction that is not good. But these protestants don't care if hundreds of Indian Christians get kiIIed. For them the net convert what matters...the few who d!e are martyrs for their "persecution cry" to get support and money from the west.
This tactuc has worked so good for them. Why would they stop?”

“Actually the Catholics have helped build institutions like schools, hospitals and hospices in India etc.. so in the last 50 years or so, the net effect of their good and bad, they may still come out on top.
But I am afraid, the Southern Baptists and the Pentacostals have been true h0rror in places like India. These two organizations are singularly responsible for religious rights in India from the NE India to the recent riots in the Indian state of Orissa where these evangalicals KiIIled a Hindu priest who went around reconverting the recent converts from Christianity to Hindusim. He tried to beat the evangalicals in their own game even though there is no proseltizing in Hindusim.”

“probably a redundant post but - - - Union Carbide is much more of a horror in India that the baptist ever could be.
On the situations in India, it is obvious you weren't reading the same news stories about the religious/political turmoil that I was reading. The horrible events in Mumbai were precipitated by religious Islamic/Hindu conflicts that have recently erupted in violence on both sides. Very little can be attributed to the small percentage of "Christian" influence.”

“Most Catholics don't take the dogma as seriously as those in many right-wing Protestant sects do, I think that's probably the biggest difference.”

“Afghanistan is in better position than Pakistan. At least the Afghans have recognized their problem and want to improve. If only Pakistanis would stop trying Afghanistan from developing.
Afghanistan cannot fail. That's not an option!
Afghanistan needs all the help.”

I assume you are a Hindu, so tell us about that phenomena.
Meantime, I am going to MC to order a nice meal (meal numero uno)”

“You cannot have stability in Afghanistan without the help of Pakistan as many of our policymakers have stated which is why the Obama administration is taking more of a regional approach to Afghanistan.”
“Here is self help for Pakistanies (the so called moderates and the "secular" crowd).
1. Forget about getting Kashmir from India. It's NOT gonna happen.
Thats it. Problem solved. That alone would save Pakistan from self destruction.
Here is why.
a. You "moderates" have been supporting your Army and the its ISI because of the "HOPE" that these mighty warriors would use their nukes and what not and wrestle Kashmir for YOU.
b. Since they know they cannot win a conventional war, they are using LeT and other J!hadies to do their dirty work and end up supporting the entire Talibani/AQ nexis
As for the concept of Jinnah. Who are you kidding? The whole premise of "Nation of the Pure" is BS to begin with..I say ..go back to your drawing board dudes to come up with a non childish motto for your nation.”

“I suggest you educated yourself on Kashmir. They Kashmiris have the right to self-determination which was accorded to them under UN RESOLUTION 47 in 1948. Until today they still haven't been allowed to exercise that right......”

“I know of no reiIgion that has played the "Persequt!on complex" to the hilt while comm!tting the most atr0c!ties in the world as Chr!stianity and IsIam and have gone on to become the two goIiaths of predat0ry reIigions in the world.
H!story is my witness!
They continue to do this today..and even the liberal press helps them with this. When a Christian somewhere cries he is being persecuted somewhere in Asia or Africa, the loser is most likely bluffing. same goes to MusIims too.”

“I'd like to know what goes on in the Southern Methodists and the Pentacoastals when they plan ethnic cleansing in far away places to supplant their local religion and culture with these idjiats religion by lying, brining and arming local militias.”
