Palin's Enemies List: Alaskan Bloggers

Commented Dec 23, 2009 at 09:17:28 in Politics

“she refuses to talk to the people but has no problem posing for pictures with them: not with THEIR OWN cameras, mind you, but from her people where one picture can be BOUGHT for around $10 for a 5x7 or you can buy the poster size!!!

Sarah sure does love capitalism!!”

KayJay90 replied on Dec 23, 2009 at 12:36:59

“I think those 5x7s were priced at near $17.00, and the 8x10s went for around $37.00.

That's similar to the "real deal" offered by Palin's SarahPAC, which suggested that for a donation of $100.00 or more, Sarah fans could get a signed copy of Palin's book.

Think about that for a minute, then contemplate how many of Palin's fans actually fell for that scam.”

Climate Denier Calls U.S. Activists "Hitler Youth" at Americans For Prosperity Protest

Commented Dec 10, 2009 at 10:08:40 in Green

“What is it with their obsession with Hitler??”

annecros replied on Dec 10, 2009 at 11:34:06

“That is what many were asking when the "Bushitler" signs were predominate at protests.

Right now, in case I need to explain it to you in very simple terms, these young people are doing the bidding of "people in authority" by repressing free speech.

The Hitler Youth did the furher's bidding, unquestioningly, and without consideration or respect for the viewpoint of others.

Makes sense to me.”

“The reason there are no jobs is that all the manufacturing (good) jobs have been outsourced to other countries so we can import the crap (like toothpaste from China). You know, all that free market capitalism that the repubs love so much? Why did they move the jobs overseas other than to make more money (and at the expense of other Americans and America itself)???”

“My sister lives in a rural area here in Pennsylvania and she is always nervous during hunting season. Her house has been shot numerous times over the past thirty years from hunters. Her property is posted but if they shoot from off your property, you don't have a case because they aren't on YOUR property.”

StonyStoner replied on Oct 30, 2009 at 18:12:09

“That bullet had to have been fired way uphill at something to hit that high on a house, and from quite a distance. He was shot at like I was. What a bunch of bs. If even the house was a target the bullet, fired from 2-300 yards would have gone through the wall into the attic. I'll bet it was a .30-30 fired at some distance with no regard to the Dobbses or their home. Look out! The sky is falling!”

A Funny Thing Happened on My Way to Talk About Afghanistan

Commented Oct 16, 2009 at 08:17:01 in Media

“I agree. MSM has lost its way. It's seems like all the news now is basically People's magazine's take on the world.

CNN really is a waste of time. They will fact-check a skit on Saturday Night Live but don't tell anybody that Alex Castolanos, a daily guest on their panel shows, is a PAID rep with a $1 million advertising contract against the health care bill yet he shills everynight against it? Sort of like having Colonel Sanders telling you how bad meat is for you everyday but neglecting to tell you he owns KFC.

I think all the 'pundits' should be hooked up to lie detectors during their appearances and the results should scroll across the bottom like when the public rates a political speech.”

Texas Cannot Wait for Good Science in the Courtroom

Commented Oct 09, 2009 at 12:49:12 in Politics

“If I lived in Texas and was on a jury, everytime scientific evidence would be presented I would disregard it. You can't trust it and they won't even LOOK at what they are doing wrong so why would anyone trust ANYTHING these people say? They executed an innocent man and don't want the fallout. Of course, he was a poor Latino, so according to Texas, who cares??

I would be the one holdout on the jury every single trial.”

Jaywalkker replied on Oct 09, 2009 at 13:40:13

“Are you kidding me? Texas juries are pulled from the people. The same people that elected their Texas School Board Members that decide curriculum. the same curriculum that has been under the gun for the last 4 years to discredit evolution, old earth geology, and planetary body formation through accretionary disc models. Now this same SBOE is working to change the social studies curriculum to remove "liberal" heroes and profile "conservative" heroes like Limbaugh and Reagan.

Very few Texas residents are of a proper mindset or comprehensive knowledge level to adequately evaluate science. And its self-inflicted.”

Why Glenn Beck & Fox News Can't Escape the "Racist" Trap

Commented Aug 21, 2009 at 09:05:46 in Media

“He's relevant because we had THREE COPS murdered here in Pittsburgh because this moron tells people everyday that Obama is coming for their guns. He tells people that there are "re-education" camps Obama is building, that Obama is Hitler, etc.

I don't mind people having a different opinion about things; actually, it's healthy. But when people LIE and get OTHERS KILLED BECAUSE OF IT, THEY BEAR RESPONSIBILITY.

That watering the tree of liberty thing? Nice going, Beck. Keep the nutcases killing innocents across the country.”

abitcrunchy replied on Aug 24, 2009 at 17:02:43

“People need to stop being left or right and start using their heads. That's all GB is doing. He tells the truth, and you people can't handle the truth because you're too busy ignoring the obvious. Why is taking sides so important? Why do you talk about the lies but never once prove that a lie was told? Why focus on the "lying" instead of the subject matter? Usually without even first checking to see if its a lie. Why do you allow your president to ignore the obvious when he tells you that you'll keep the same insurance? Do you have some crystal ball that tells you there's enough money to pay for all this and that the insurance companies won't go out of business because of this health-care "plan"? Well guess what? You're president doesn't have a crystal ball either! At least Beck is bringing what COULD happen into the picture. I guess you can't stand it because it makes your president look like a liar! Is that what you mean by "But when people LIE and get OTHERS KILLED BECAUSE OF IT, THEY BEAR RESPONSIBILITY."? Because which liar will be held responsible for all the lives which will be shortened because of inadequate health care? Should your president go to jail over THOSE lies when we see them come to light???

Anyone with half a brain can see that we can not afford what he's proposing.”

abitcrunchy replied on Aug 24, 2009 at 16:57:10

“Some people are so idiotic. I guess this means that when your teenage daughter kills ten people on the highway because she just had to make that phone-call while driving...then you should be held responsible and pay for each and every murder. After all, it was you who TOLD her she could have a cell phone.”

You then say "As for "hate speech" what group comes to mind when we think of hate speech?" PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me what group YOU think of when it comes to hate speech.

What is your definition of hate speech?”

beachrose replied on Aug 21, 2009 at 14:02:07

“If YOU don't know the difference between "hate speech" and the First Amendment,
there is a problem. Because there is a distinct difference. Opinion and critical analysis (criticizing the President's policies) is PROTECTED under the First Amendment. Glenn Beck has NOT violated either. Mocking, ridiculing and demonizing - as MSNBC does - so repetitiously and shamelessly is also NOT against the law. However, they are destroying their own credibility when they refer to people as "turds" (unnecessary hateful & vile projections) just to shut people up - and if your OPINIONS are influenced by such - this is "borderline hate speech." They are actually INSULTING their own audience - while condoning immoral and unethical BEHAVIOR.

Fox doesn't "trash talk" their competition - they don't have to! They have "class" and treat their viewers with honesty and respect.”
