“When was the last time you passed major health care legislation, increased the availability college loans for students, held an international nuclear summit (including making a deal with Ukraine), signed a nuclear arms agreement with Russia and didn't expect a vacation?”

“It's just weird how right-wingers are so brainwashed to hate and disrespect the president that they forget even what he did last week. They have been propagandized so much to think he's not doing anything that facts and obvious accomplishments are just not recognized. It's like a kind of blindness. What's really sad is how they really don't realize who is doing this to them and why. It's not pretty, and they will be upset if they ever open their eyes and figure it out for themselves.”

“I love my American right to free speech, but I agree with realitybase. While all forms of speech are allowed in the US, including hate speech, we have laws against hate crimes. The first amendment comes with the assumption that people always have control of their emotions, and they know the boundary between hate speech and criminal acts. Unfortunately, this is not always true. I think that Canada has done the right thing by limiting hate speech. While it may seem like less freedom, it is safer for the country, and maintaining a safe environment is the number one priority of the government.”
