Next,if we do end up with a public option there should be language that makes it clear we are phasing out the insurance companies and not offering them our hard earned money via some "negotiated deal" that allows them to go along in a business as usual manner skimming our money so their CEO's can walk away with billion dollar parachutes like the former CEO of United Healthcare did.They'v­e ripped us off long enough,we owe them nothing except maybe some prison time.”

You're partially right.The main purpose of health insurance in the US is to make a profit,...­....a 30% profit.Tha­t 30% can be used to cover everyone else that has no coverage and still cost less than a public option.The­re is no way the insurance companies will give up this cash cow unless we exclude them totally.Wh­y should we let them linger with their hands in our pockets after they've been screwing us for decades?This is a no brainer for the people,Medicare for all.”

“I find it hard to understand the reasoning of the insurance companies to allow such bad press after gouging their customers with higher rates this year.It appears their rules were authored by the same people that authored the IRS rules.
At first I thought the rate increases were just their way of regaining what they threw at the Congress and assorted lobby groups.The­n I thought they were trying to make a last big gouge before they were sent packing.No­w I think it's just business as usual and they're just acting how they always did ,except now we've taken the covers off their filthy little game so all America can see what's happening.
