“We already know our political system is rigged by the corporate world. We need them removed from the process, after all,how many of your employers ever gave you anything that you didn't have to fight for.I'm not talking about the mid-level leeches that implement every worker averse policy conceived,I'm talking about the people that actually do the work.To think the corporate structure wants to help the "people"is absurdity at best.
Something most people know but aren't always aware of is when a worker gets some kind of perk through union bargaining or any other means, the mid-level leech will most assuredly gain at least as much. That' s the only way to keep a full complement of leeches on hand.”

“Linking healthcare reform to the Monica Crowley rant is actually an interesting paradigm of the Republican party. They are crowing about the fact 60% of the American people do not support the healthcare reform bill and taking credit for opposing it.In reality the bill is exactly what they want and they(Republicans) can still oppose it and garner support.
The majority of American people were all for healthcare reform when it was discussed as a single payer, one size fits all program(socialized medicine).
So Monica Crowley is able to have her cake and eat it too without explaining that the American public would have loved the progressive, liberal version of healthcare reform.”

“oh the american people would love the progressive liberal healthcare bill when has america ever loved anything liberal news flash we don't liberalism has been tried all over the world and has failed overwhelming i have true liberal friends and they describe progressive liberals as the most radical leftist bodering on marxism and have stolen the liberal name when i hear the president say his goal is to eliminate private insurance if it takes 10 15 or 20 years what does that mean oh by the way socialized medicine is so great why did a saudi princess come to america for surgery capitalism isn't perfect but look at n.korea and s.korea end of disscusion also if you are on kidney dialysis in england they cut you off at 65 that sounds like real healthcare so be careful what you wish for you might just get it”

“What you call "the progressive, liberal version of healthcare reform" would have been a national disaster -- much lower quality health care at much higher cost, with increased taxes AND vastly increased national debt. The current version(s), after a dizzying succession of changes, will not be much better if it actually becomes law. It's no accident or mistake that 60% of Americans are AGAINST this legislative monstrosity; the more they learn about it and the details the more they detest it, and this clearly has been the reason for Obama wanting to rush it through as quickly as possible. He has accomplished NOTHING his entire first year in office, and just wants a health care bill to sign as a mark of personal accomplishment. He doesn't even know what's in it. NO ONE understands the whole bill, including the Democrat senators who have voted for it, and some of them -- Democrats! -- have admitted this. The version just (barely) passed by the Senate would not have passed except for all the "brass knuckles and bribery" methods of the White House. This is Chicago politics come to Washington, folks. Anyone who thinks this is good for the country needs to sit back, take some deep breaths and give the whole thing a harder look.”

Now we don't have the means to secure our ports or airlines.T here will be more attempts and some are bound to succeed, guess who'll get the blame?”

“Whenever anyone trots this same argument out (yes, I am sorry to tell you, but it has been mentioned before) I always ask them what it was that we were doing before 9/11 that angered them to the point of slaughtering 3,000 innocent people? Do you really think that if we just disengaged from the rest of the world that we would suddenly be insulated from all of this? Sometimes it is not America's fault, I wish people would acknowledge that.”

“If the public option is thwarted by Congress this bill will do a lot of good for the uninsured, some good for some people, cause financial difficulty for a lot of people, raise and lock in profits for the insurance industry for years to come.Their CEO's will keep exploiting ways to bring home hundred million dollar annual paychecks and more in bonuses. If President Obama really means he'll roll up his sleeves and accomplish something that's one thing. But if his approach is to put window dressing on this turkey,as I suspect,in the long run we will all be losers.
Without the public option at the very least, this bill is a sellout of the American people and another giveaway to our socialist corporate American swine.
As far as most of our politicians that have worked hard to enrich themselves in the process, I can't offer anything but an expletive deleted.
If I'm wrong I'll be more than happy to apologize.”
